I think this has been addressed before, but I was probably too busy not caring. The question is... what if James Dolan also owned a major shoe company (Nike)... could he pay Lebron $5 million but then give him a ridiculous shoe contract?
I know the NBA is very careful about teams trying to get around the salary cap, but to what extent can they go?
