Yeah, our beef sucks. I don't like going on that typical leftie rant about how shitty our food is, but...goddamn is our food shitty. Problem is that, even with the popularity of all those food docs (Food Inc, etc) people just don't give a shit enough to pass legislation to fix it.
I had a burger at a Five Guys in Montreal once, and I swear to god, it was the best burger I ever tasted. When I came home I went to my local Five Guys, and it tasted like a slightly better version of a typical SoCal burger. That was probably when it hit me the hardest that our beef just really, really sucks.

More protein for muscle growth. Chicken shit has 25 grams of protein. Put that in beef & you've got an easy 60 grams of protein.
You keep worrying. I'll keep building massive muscles and getting all the pvssy.

Can't think of a better reason to raise or hunt your own meat.

mad cow came from the UK from feeding on other cattle remains, i'm not complaining about our beef. tastes fine to me. China has way more fukked up shit going on. our standards are generally pretty high, relatively speaking.
Beef tastes delicious and it isn't making me sick, so I'm not worried.

Wouldn't be surprised since cows are basically grown in a factory nowadays.
Another worrying thing is that the cows main diet has switched from grass to corn which isn't natural for the cows to eat. Along with the diet and dirty conditions they are grown in results in all these diseases that are popping up. I read somewhere if the cows diet is changed from corn to grass than the chance of disease growing in the cow/food decreases by 85%

Actually most beef cattle are raised eating grass, then are switched to corn right before slaughter. The reason is simple, it makes the meat delicious. I know the best deer meat I have ever had, is from a friend who brought over some steaks of a young corn fed Iowa buck.
