In Puerto Rico, I went in with about 30 dollars and lost it on the slot machines :coleman:. Didn't win a dime but got a few free drinks :lol.

gambling is for dummies...

I like playing big poker games with friends but that's about it.

Blackjack and Poker are primarily games of luck. Anybody knows BJ and poker strategy. They aren't complex games. I just laugh at people who act like they are serious card sharks and think they have some edge over the house or other players.

As long as I know when to stop, yes.

But usually that would mean it will be a quick stay at the casino though because when you get the money you get it fast, and could lose it as fast if you stay around longer.

After 2nd year at uni, I watched the movie 21 and got inspired to attempt this at a local casino with a few uni friends.

I came in with $50 and came out with $2000 and my friends had similar success but we got banned from the casino for "cheating". Luckily it wasn't a really famous casino they let us keep our money and our lives. Pretty sure if I tried this sh!t in Las Vegas I would've gotten shot.

Note to everyone, don't scam from casinos, they gon kill u at some point.

Made money on NBA playoff games during my trip to Vegas in April. Not a big fan of table games but I love going to a sportsbook and watching the action over some drinks.

it makes me laff at how many people i run into who swear they're great online poker players but are broke as fukk.

yeah i've been to AC, and been to the local new casino too, Maryland Live, i think....and it was fun with all of the catering and glamor but its the dumbest way to try and make money.

gambling with the stock market is a million times safer with that money. if you're just looking for fun ways to blow money and possibly win then sure...

oh and the other thing about player blacjack at casinos is its so robotic, like everyone at the table is expecting you to make the 'right' play...its generally considered everyone at the table vs the dealer where you're all trying to make them break. so if u play a unorthodox risky move people get mad or leave the table. Blackjack has become such a rule thing.

I wanted to play poker but they had like a $50 buy in with antees of $5 and $10. Didn't have much money on me that night and had to leave some for dinner with my girlfriend later that night.

anytime.

The most dangerous poker players at the table are the least experienced ones. The ones that really DON'T know how to play. I hate playing against people like that. It's so much easier to read guys that play by the tired and true methodology.

I like playing games against more serious poker players because they are easy to read and easy to piss off. I like to play loose and just straight up gamble on certain hands.

My poker philosophy is all about taking risks, and taking them often, because i acknowledge that at the end of the day Poker is really just a game of chance.

Sure you do. I make over 200$/hr at my legitimate job.

You don't understand the game if you think you are so much better than other players. Poker is not complicated. There really is not that much strategy to it. People like you think they are really good at the game are always extremely predictable. I like playing against people like you.

Most people understand the basics of playing position and how to play depending on your stack versus others' at the table. IMO there is really not much more to the game, especially when you are playing with complete strangers.

There's a lot more to poker than that, but that's why there will always be fish in the game, because people like you exist. I don't really want to argue about this with someone who is completely clueless, there's no point really.

Every game the casino offers, the odds are in their favor. You may win sometimes but cant beat them long term.

not true. ive got a second cousin who says hes a professional roulette player. hes got a fool-proof system.

one time I saw him leave the casino with over $2000 after playing roulette for like 45 minutes.
