This means Matrix will be going back to 31, I presume?

The starting lineup should be irving, bran, marion, love, andy

Waiters should be 6th man

This would be a good mix of offense and defense

Ideally only 2 out of the 3 (Lebron, waiters, irving) should be playing at once

That's the assumption on RCF. 31 was The Matrix's number in college and in his first stint in Phoenix. He switched to 7 in Miami because Ricky Davis had 31, and switched to 0 in Dallas because 31 was already taken by Jason Terry.

I think it's his preferred number.

If you want Waiters to be the 6th man then the lineup should be Irving, Miller, LeBron, Love & Varejao

Waiters & Marion would be their best players off the bench.

This would be more logical.

Irving
Miller
LeBron
Love
Varejao

bench...

Dellevadeova
Waiters
Marion
Thompson

...Thompson will probably mainly play C unless we acquire one, and a little bit of PF. Marion will probably play mostly SF and a little bit of PF as well.

There's a lot of lineups Blatt can run.

I forgot about Tristan Thompson. He'll be a productive player off the bench. Cavs are going to be great next season.

I agree, he's a capable starter in the league. He's pretty much been a 11/10 guy the last two seasons, but I think he's best fit is off the bench getting 25-30 minutes of game and going all out hustle/motor mode.

Someone said they were worried about the Cavaliers rebounding like a day or two ago. I don't understand this. You have arguably the best rebounder in the league in Love, LeBron is one of the top 5 rebounding SFs in the league. Varejao is one of the better rebounding centers in the league. Thompson almost averaged 10 rebounds a game the last two seasons like 9.X or whatever. And Shawn Marion just averaged over 6 rebounds a game playing SF/PF. Again, I don't see what they're thinking.

Who would say this? :biggums:

They are probably going to be the ebst rebounding team in the league.

I can't find it now, It might've been on RCF as well. But someone did say that and I was like :biggums: Cavaliers should be one of the better rebounding teams in the league.

Rebounding should be one of the main strengths for this Cavs team. They were already the 10th best last year, and now they have added Love, Lebron and Marion.

Honestly, I think they might be the best rebounding team in the league.
