Are the two longest stretches of makes, any visible difference between the missed shots noticeable in form?

After squats and dead lifts I'm conserving as much energy as possible so I can have the energy to shoot....Doesn't help that I gained 10 pounds the past two weeks XD. Bending of the knees = A no go

Too much beer, pop, pizza and visits to a bakery haha. Going ham before school starts. Mostly water weight but I sure do feel it :lol

To be honest with you, I sparked a J right after so any thought of doing that completely escaped me

Actually hoped to at least do body squats after getting my legs warmed up, more so to test my knees than get a workout in

Lets ball one on one, I'll make you feel violated after draining a few sweeping hooks on you.

Should upload a video of yourself shooting, couldn't be worse right? :lol

Well sometimes you seem to be jumping forward & sometimes not, sometimes jump a bit higher, sometimes lower = inconsistent looking jumpshot = inconsistent outcome, with that being said i noticed a couple faults in your shot, im not sure if you are aware or care but anyways:

* You are not following through & not using your wrist enough -
FIX: On release stretch out your arm straight out (dont ricochet the hand/forearm back bending your elbow like you do) & flick your wrist/fingers down (make sure you really made the ball spin perfectly vertically downwards), you can also keep your arm & wrist up there after the shot to make really sure you followed through.

*You are not jumping straight up, often moving & leaning forwards -
FIX: Make sure your feet land where you tookoff, make also sure your shoulders & feet are pointing & are equally close towards the basket.

*The left arm seems to be to much involved (almost looks like you shoot with two hands at times)
FIX: That off-hand/arm should just support the ball & help guide/target the shooting hand for a perfect release/followthrough... it should never change its form either (make sure its not pushing the ball on the release or something, with the thumb perhaps), on the shot/followthrough its either just staying exactly where it was or moving slightly forwards in a karate chop type of form saying goodbye to the ball and letting the shooting hand do the rest.

*You are using your legs as leverage to much to get the shot of -
FIX: You should first jump & then shoot/release at the very peak, you are doing what i call a "push shot" (kindof launching the ball soon as you jump) instead of a "jump *notice the gap* shot"...

If you fix these things and also remember to make your shot/form/release/takeof be identical every single time, with a bit of practice & patience you will be shooting the ball better than you ever could, i guarantee you that.

EXACTLY what I was hoping to get, this kind of feedback. Thanks! Even though it was wrong throughout, was I doing anything different/better in my two longest stretches of makes in your eyes? Most I've made in a row is 30, but it's too inconsistant...I just shoot around for fun but it'd be nice to develop a shot people could respect

Some days I'm better with my hook :lol....Most I've made in a row with that is 17-20

I know you just did leg day so you won't be jumping as high but do you get blocked often on your jumper?

Not often... I have been obviously but grew up playing one on one with a friend who played basketball and was a track athlete...I can tell when I have enough space and only shoot a jump shot when I have it..Unless I'm feeling it then Ill be cocky enough to step into them as a challenge...Otherwise I put my back to the basket and try to get off a hook, an up n under or a turn around J etc etc. Otherwise I pass it off and become the asshole trying to get position for a rebound as if it were an NBA game.
