1) Kyrie signs long term
2) Get #1 draft pick that turns into Kevin Love
3) Sign LeBron James
4) Sign mike miller and shawn marion for cheap

A lot of teams see one of these things happening for them once over a decade.

and it's all due to the GOAT ring-chaser, lebron james.

Comparable to 1996 Lakers off-season.

Trade Vlade Divac for Kobe Bryant, who turns out to be the 2nd best SG all-time, get Shaq in FA. Also drafted Fisher. Those 3 guys would be on 5 Laker title teams in the next 15 years.

Or how about when Lakers won the #1 pick and got Magic thanks to winning the coin flip?

The Lakers big dream was to get Irving and Love in the same summer. Cleveland did that.

Oh, and they managed to get that guy Lebron to top it off.

Miami's 2010 was better, getting 2 of the top 3 players in the league is unheard off.

Bosh was not top 3 player in league. Maybe top 3 FA that off season.

Meant Wade and Bron (Wade just resigned but still)

2010 Lebron >> 2014 Lebron
'10 Wade >>>>>>>>> '14 Kyrie
Love = Bosh
'10 Miller > '14 crippled Miller

Maybe not the GOAT, but it's one of the great ones.

Comparable in impact to the Celtics in 2007 and the Heat in 2010.

2007 Celtics is the best modern one, imo, because it's just a pure display of exec skill followed by instant execution:
- take a 24 win team with Paul Pierce
- draft Jeff Green
- turn Jeff Green, Wally Sczerbiak and Delonte West into Ray Allen and Glen Davis
- turn Al Jefferson and filler into Kevin Garnett
- sign James Posey and Eddie House to help fill out the roster
- win a championship the next summer after a 66 win season

1996 Lakers has a case for being the best one ever.

it's unprecedented what lebron has done and is doing as far as jumping from one super-stacked team to another.

he's turning the league into WWE as far as the staged feeling that i have.. it's like an experiment, "let's see... if we put Lebron with this all-star and also with this all-star, he should be able to win X championships"... it's very staged.

the ability to help young, NON-all-star players grow into champions used to valuable - but lebron has chosen to skip this process twice now - he's firmly out of my top 10... funny, because before last season, he was in it... but now, with guys like duncan staying with his team and having his game evolve and adjust over 17 years makes me realize duncan > lebron.. so that means lebron can't be in the top 10.
