Lakers may not make the playoffs but they WILL be better than last year (Meeks and Young carried the team the whole year along with Pau, while Henry, Hill, Bazemore, Farmar, Marshall, and Wesley Johnson were counted on to have good games on a regular basis to overcome the team's lack of defense. Kobe, Lin, Boozer, and Randle are a huge upgrade over all that).
