Bradford out with another ACL tear. The same knee too. :facepalm :(
Worthy comparison?
Other ones:
Brees = KD
E.Manning = LeBron
Brady = Kobe
Any others?

Farve = LeBron
Kind of ironic considering how many games Farve played in a row and how durable he was, then he left the Packers to go to a rival. :oldlol:

Sam Bradford = Greg Oden.
Rose actually got to the playoffs and won an MVP. Bradford has never led his team to .500 or over.

Maybe if Lebron averaged 12 PPG en route to a title and somehow got all the credit for carrying a "crap" team. That's the equivalent of what Peyton did in 06.
I don't hate Peyton Manning or anything, but he's the most overrated QB of all time. He's the best regular season QB ever, but the playoffs are a different story.

Hope someone in the NBA pulls off an AP and actually comes back strong from an ACL tear. (your move, Rondo).

Naw, I was referring to Eli Manning.

Both are great in the regular season. When it's time for the playoffs, both disappoint.

The guy who led the league in INTs last season and missed the Playoffs in the shitty NFC East? :oldlol:

Brady and Kobe is obvious.
Can also see Manning and LeBron in that they put up big numbers but lack the rings. Or maybe Peterson.
Melo is someone like Stafford or Rivers.
Rose = RG3

Duncan is Brady. Consistent every year, titles.
Nobody is Manning.
Durant is not Brees because Brees has a title. Durant last year was more like Manning, but Manning won a SB.
Melo is definitely Romo

KD = Adrian Peterson (one of the games best and most consistent offensive players without a ring)
Chris Paul = Matt Ryan (very good passer who is fundamentally sound but can't get over the hump)
Blake Griffin = Michael Vick (flashy at all times but hasn't consistently proven to be a contributor to a winner)
James Harden = Marshawn Lynch (very solid for a team until he goes elsewhere and blows up)
Carmelo Anthony = Jay Cutler (wrongly accused of being chubby, always in the playoffs but never quite winning it all)
Javaris Crittenton = Aaron Hernandez (pow pow)

I didn't say anything about his win/loss record. In fact, I criticized him for playing like crap the year they won the super bowl.
Peyton is often part of the problem when they lose. People like to act like he's carrying the team on his back and not getting enough help. That's just not true.

Replace the word Peyton with Lebron and you described half the LeBron threads during his time in Cleveland and last year on ISH.

Manning's play really drops in the playoffs. The team is heavily dependent on him. That's the only case in football where a team seriously depends on a player. Manning is usually the reason his team loses in the playoffs.

Denver is stacked. Just couldn't do anything against Seattle's defense.

Lebron WAS part of the problem in 07 and 08. He didn't play well at all in those losses. Game 5 in 2010 was pretty ugly too.

Right, and that's why he's analogous to Peyton.

Their offense was ridiculously stacked, and people had the nerve to say that Peyton "made" Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. Give me a break. Thomas is a legit top 3 receiver no matter who the QB is. He was still a beast when he had Tim ****ing Tebow throwing to him.

Had to be a joke. Eli ranges from slightly above average to downright shit.

More appropriately I meant always seems poised to contend. Cutler has been on quite a few teams that looked poised to make a good playoff run and fell short.

The defense carried the shit out of that colts team, the league gifted him the sbmvp just like they did with the mvp in 09
