He might not sign for a few months, but please sign with Cavs

Defence and Shot blocking are the last pieces required for the Cavs to be a factor in the East playoffs

Lebron has Kyrie, Love, Waiters & Varejo but he still needs more to be a factor in the east playoffs?

The Cavs have roster spots available, what else are they supposed to do?

Get the worst player available?

don't forget Thompson, Marion and Mike Miller. They probably need Ray Allen and Emeka Okafor though, never know when Bron will cramp again.

He would give the Cavs some much need shot blocking...

Varejao / Love / Thompson are all GREAT rebounders - but are all TERRIBLE rim protectors... Okafor could come in and give them 20 or so minutes if healthy of pure rim protection...

Varejao (22) Okafor (16)
Love (36) Thompson (18) Lebron (4)

A minute share something like this would seem like a good fit,

I would still try and package Thompson in a deal to land a starting rim protecting C (Sanders etc) and move Varejao to a 6th man type role in which I think he would thrive in...

Also I would not be surprised to hear Hickson's name thrown around as a possible trade target throughout the year...

yeah. I kinda get a feeling that Cleveland may of stacked together enough talent to overcome any first year troubles.

I have faith in the Bulls, but this mountain is getting ridiculous :oldlol:

I am fairly sure Noah legitimately HATES Lebron lol - can never see that deal happening for that reason alone -

Okafor had problems with his neck, right? Nothing to do with his legs/knees? If so, he clearly should look for more than min vet.

I'd love to get Okafor on the Cavs, though I am sure he'll get offered more money to go somewhere else.

He would be a very solid addition to the bench, and would even have a shot at starting if Andy's injury problems continue.

Either Waiters or Thompson has to go tbh. Both are undersized for their positions and would be better to trade them for specialists veterans and draft picks. They are good players who could possibly be 1st or 2nd options one day but they are not the specialists a contender needs to win a championship.

They are already stacked

They have two superstars who are no longer held back by a cancer + extremly deep team

Waiters absolutely could be. Thompson though? He's going to have a solid career but he won't be a first, second or third option for that matter.

A decent center is what we need though to compete with Chicago. I talked about this in another thread. I'm sure we can out score the Bulls but its going to be tough with Noah and Pau out there at once. Okafor would be great next to Andy against the Bulls. Speaking of big's there are still plenty of quality back up centers out there........ Okafor, Blatche, Ayon, Mullens, Udoh, Mohammed, K-Mart.

thompson is represented by rich paul, so he definitely wont be traded. he'll probably get overpaid too, to keep lebron happy.

Maybe the Cavs can trade for Paul George while his value is low?

I'm sure they could work out a trade for Andre Drummond, too.

Soon, the Cavs can be called Team USA.
