I don't think LeBron's body is actually that ideal. Too big/bulky, basketball is not football and LeBron doesn't even use his size. If he played a game like Charles Barkley or Karl Malone having that physique would help.
But being that big means he's slower off the first step. His leaping ability off 2 feet is also somewhat lackluster (great one foot leaper on the fast break though).
If you could have a 6'8/6'9 version of Jordan but not lose the speed/agility/explosiveness, that's probably the ideal but that player doesn't really exist.
Tracy McGrady might the be closest, but his doesn't have it between the ears.

2009 Lebron had arguably the perfect body for basketball..
6'8" 250 pounds of pure muscle, with legitimate point guard-like quickness/speed/agility, with a 44+ inch vert, PF strength, etc. Your point about being overly bulky and slower off the first step...not back then. No one could stay with him.
If you're talking right now, I could understand your point. There are times when he can't get by someone, and maybe he has trouble staying with the quickest guards out there...but 5 years ago, there was just zero weakness physically. He was the most physically gifted perimeter player I've ever seen. And overall it's a tossup between him and peak Shaq.

Well this is no fun.
Rick Fox' head.
McGrady' torso in those old Raptors jerseys.
Jordan's arms/hands.
Tyson Chandler's chicken legs.

A player who is the exact opposite of Lebron James are far as heart and brains go. A player that wants to overcome obstacles the right way and set a good example for the youth. Not a player that wants his accolades gifted to him.
We don't need more clowns like Lebron James in this league...he has taken flopping to a whole new extreme....a potential G.O.A.T....SMH....sad...

250 is too heavy still IMO. Again it's basketball not football. You just can't have the higher tier explosive speed at that size.
It also hurts your two foot leaping ability, which is the majority of how you have to jump/dunk in a half court set.
To jump stop, plant two feet, and then rise up ... having that much weight to have to go up isn't ideal.
I doubt his vert is 44 inches either. You don't get swatted by a 34 year old Kobe Bryant twice with a 44 inch vert. He has great leaping ability when he has a full head of steam and room for a one foot take off, I'll give him that.

One was a jumpshot and the other was a pathetic layup attempt with contact. I'm not saying he has a 44 vert, but that's silly reasoning.
