To me, the only things Bron could do better is pass the rock. MJ was capable of the same output assists wise, but Bron looks to pass first and is a bit better in terms of seeing a play before it happens. But the gap in passing isn't that big to me. Sure Bron may be a better rebounder, but he's the size of Karl Malone! lol Scoring wise is MJ all day. MJ's TOTAL SCORING SKILLSET is right at the top of all time along with guys like Kobe, Bird, Melo, Gervin, Durant, Big O, and Bernard King. Pure defensive ability I would go with MJ even though Bron is a great defender and arguably the most versatile defender ever. So in terms of versatility, Bron has the edge. But in terms of fundamentals or total technical skill, the edge goes to Jordan.

Efficiency isn't the be all, end all, that's what you LeBron clowns don't understand. LeBron put up nice stats these last Finals if all you go by is pure numbers but if you actually watched the game, his impact was minimum. He had as many TO as he did assists and guess what, LeBron could've done more offensively but nah, it's better to shoot less and keep that efficiency rating godly than actually try to help Miami win by being more aggressive offensively since, you know, he was Miami's best scoring threat.

On the defensive side of the ball, LeBron is the most overrated defender in the history of the NBA. He doesn't guard 1-5, when he occasionaly does, it's always non scoring scrub PFs and Cs. Why didn't he ever guard Duncan in any of their Finals? Because he can't! He had enough trouble keeping a role player he was defending from winning FMVP, imagine if he had to guard a GOAT PF/C, even if TDuncan is way past his prime, he would've destroyed LeBron, that's why his HCs have never tried putting LBJ on legit PFs and Cs. He was put on David West briefly in the Pacers series and West merked him, and West isn't an elite PF :oldlol:

11. ability to elevate his game in the playoffs (not that Lebron doesn't but MJ is the goat finals performer and possibly goat overall playoff performer)

What Lebron has on Jordan:

2. passing
3. long range shooting
4. everything that comes with being prototypical power forward sized.
5. defensive versatility
6. ability to physically wear down an interior defense
7. ability to drag a mediocre supporting casts to impressive win records

And lol @ anyone who thinks playmaking and passing is the same thing. Lebron holding the ball and sizing the defense for 3 seconds before he makes a move is not good playmaking. He gets away with that because he's so damn talented. Jordan's ability to adapt to his teammate's strengths is so underrated. Pipp is a player who needs the ball on offense and Jordan was able to accommodate that playing offball while still getting his 30 ppg. I'm sure if you equip MJ with a team of average to above average players who all excell at a role he can put up gaudy all-around numbers (see 88-89) and like Lebron, will ultimately fall short of a title.

Long story short, Lebron > MJ at carrying mediocre teams to impressive regular season records; MJ > Lebron if you can provide a reasonable supporting cast to contend.
