If he gets the playing time, considering Brad Stevens played Humphries over him last season, he'll average 20 and 10 and show he's one of the best offensive big-men in the league.

Very underrated.

How ?
Will he be taking stat-padding lessons from Rajon Rondo ?

He might average 16 and 9 though. Depends what shape he comes back in

He scored 13ppg on 42%fg last year, so he may have to shoot 30% to make it to 20ppg

I think Brad Stevens would quit and go back to college

Lots of unknowns this season. Sullinger has a high IQ. Let us see what he will do with it.

he's talented but at least at OSU he had a tendency to play lazy. I'll admit he's looked much better than I expected at the NBA level.

20 and 10 is a stretch. I think he could easily be around 16 or 17 pts with 10 rebs a game though, he played out of position at center the majority of last year so putting him back at his natural position more this year could benefit him a lot. His conditioning was also not too great last year so hopefully he is in a bit better of shape coming into this season.

I guess that means the Celtics are going to be pretty bad again. I doubt he can average that and the Celtics win basketball games. He's already an inefficient scorer.

I think his best attribute will be offensive rebounding.

I haven't seen him play all that much, but if he's scoring 13ppg on 42%fg, do you really want him shooting MORE?

That's already atrocious percentages for a big.

Plus he averages 27% from 3, but for some reason shoots 3 a game, which is a lot. If he stops taking those, (completely) his percentages might go up to semi-respectable numbers.

But yeah 20ppg seems completely out of the question.

He won't be a focal point on offense. 18 ppg may even be a high. 9 reb seems realistic.

That's because he started shooting 3s, if homie keeps shooting 3s we might have to ship his fat ass out

Bump.

Sully finishes with 21 points, 19 rebounds and 2 steals on 47% FG in a preseason game vs. the Nets. Next Kevin Love

Easy now. Nets frontline tonight was made to be abused.

(It was in only 28 minutes though)

Shade, do you have any idea how difficult it is to put up a consistent 20 and 10?

Theres no way Sully is ready to make this happen...

Yeah, tbh, the day after I made that thread I was wondering what I was on that made me think he'd put up 20 and 10. I still think he can average 16-18 and 10 though.

He wont average quite 20 ppg, but 10 rpg I could see...
