He was posting last year. We just gotta get somebody to throw him the ball more lol. He tore up Portland in the Playoffs. That's what happens when defenses try to play him straight up.

I would love to see a Houston v Kings playoff series. DMC vs Howard would be incredible

I think the Mavs are gonna be so scary this year. I hope we beat the shit outta them chumps though. Parsons is gonna blossom under a great coach and great system.

Finals appearance at the least. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we got bounced early due to lack of experience.

Lack of experience and I would imagine lack of chemistry. Unless the rest of the team falls in line and everybody knows their roles and all that. What do you think of your new coach?

So is Monroe pretty much gone? How did him and Drummond look out on the court together. I wish we could have gotten SVG on the Rockets.

How do you think Klay is gonna look being that he was being semi dangled in a potential trade for Love? I wonder how your defense will look under Kerr instead of Jackson.

I think if anything it will motivate Klay. He improved a lot each year, and the guy's already a beast defensively. Im hopeful that this season he'll take another leap too.

As far as the defense goes Mike Malone doesn't get enough credit. Then when you add an all-world defender in iggy, bogut being healthy and klay and draymond playing great D there's no wonder the team ranked as an elite defensive squad. Jackson was a great motivator and got the team to play hard, but regardless the talent is there on both ends and I'm optimistic about Kerr using it well.

I don't expect the Celtics to make the playoffs, but I don't think they're gonna get blown out very often either. Hell, they didn't even last year.

I think Rondo is going to have one of his best years, if not his best individual season, and I think we'll continue to see growth in the young guns. I'm excited to watch the maturation of Bradley, Sullinger, Olynyk, Zeller, Pressey, VITOR FAVERANI, Young and my boy Marcus Smart.

I also expect a trade or two by the deadline. It's gonna be a fun year.

I would expect high results if I were a warriors fan.

They have the IF HEALTHY label like the bulls, but they are definitely talented enough. I think the addition of Livingston and the coach will be huge for them, I'll be watching a lot of warriors games this year.

Don't play like ****ing garbage on defense like you did at the end of the season and play with a chip on your shoulder. You have a lot to prove against a lot of jackasses out there. Winning consistently helps.

poido123

I am cautiously optimistic.

Its hard to have full faith when you have a guy who is injury prone.

If all goes well on the injury front I expect a finals showing.

CelticBalla32
08-27-2014, 07:38 PM
So are yall trading Rondo or nah?

Who knows. I personally don't want to get rid of Rondo, but he is in a contract year and he can sign wherever he wants next summer. If they can't figure out some kind of extension, it is probably smart to get what you can for him, before you risk losing him for nothing.

It all depends on what else happens before that. The Cs have a lot of young talent and as many first round picks as anyone. They struck out on Kevin Love, but you never know what kind of deals are out there.

I could see the Celtics hitting a home run in the trade market and keeping Rondo, or I could see Rondo moved and a longer rebuild. It takes two to tango, it depends what other teams are offering.

Pretty sure we have all 15 spots filled, but that includes the guys we received in that Utah trade. It's assumed they're going to be used as filler at some point down the line.

OK.

Obviously in any trade you guys make with these fillers, you will get back less players and therefore be able to sign some more free agents...

Finals appearance and a loss to the Spurs in 7. But that's OK - Spurs will be too old in 2016 and Cavs can have all the titles they want then! New dynasty starting in 2016 and LeBron cementing his place in the top 5 all-time (ahead of Kobe, of course)

I don't blame them. He's not playing well. I'm hoping he'll feel more comfortable being the primary ball handler on the Bulls and eventually find his rhythm. It's great that he's got his explosive athleticism back, but if that's all he can rely on, he's gonna get injured again. We have a great team with or without him, but of course there's no way we can make the finals if he's not healthy and back to his old self.
