i have an older sister and i can honestly say... not much at all

not sure why. we've mostly gotten along. but i've never felt like she took me under her wing in any way and she never earnestly reached out. i guess she's always been there as an outlet though.

maybe i'm overthinking this

what's your sibling situation? good? bad? ugly?

2 of them have showed me the way I don't want to live. The one closest in age to me hasn't really influenced me at all because we are completely different people. We have very few shared interests and so aren't particularly close

nothing major, 2 older sibling convinced me liberal arts degrees were wastes of money.

Love all of my siblings, only friends with my older brother. Would give a kidney to either of my sisters, but we dont really have much to talk about.

None cuz I'm the oldest.

I didn't really set a good example for my younger siblings, though. :-/
how so?

my sister showed me how to lick a woman's clit and which hole to put it in. She did a live demonstration with me.

My brother showed me how to do a.nal, i was the recipient.

Older brother. He motivates me because he has had a lot more "downs" then I did in life and now is doing very well for himself. Whenever I have a very bad day, we usually talk 20-30 minutes.

For starters, I always yelled back or talk back at mom. doesn't sound too malicious but it does effect how much influence my mom had on them, which was very little.

So now i realized if I would have listened to her more, I would have had a much better adulthood. I would have studied harder, wanted to learn more.

I hate to make an excuse for myself but without a father figure or an influential male figure, I looked up to my friends. It would have been great if I knew what adulthood would be like at age 13.

I also never tried to intervene or influence my younger siblings either. My thinking was that, everybody will eventually learn from their mistakes. But that's me being a careless older brother. I should have showed them that they're better off not following my footsteps.
this is fascinating man i wish i had time to talk to you more about it

i've been raised by my mother and sister, and they mean everything for me

pretty sure it affected my views on women at the very least. i got more respect for women than most
