Until Plumlee has a more complete offensive game, no he isn't ready for the next step. Relies too much on athleticism. No post moves, no jumpshot yet.

well hump and evans were starters and they provided little more than rebounding and ill-advised shooting. if plum can merely step up his rebounding, he'll already be way ahead of them in rim-play, defense and BBIQ.

on ND they proposed KG starting, playing around 1/ 2 quarter, then plums and teletovvy platooning or something like that. not to mention mason sliding over to 5 to spell brook.

unless KG manages to get younger, it's hard to see things going different.

The answer is yes, but not this year and maybe not to the level the Nets (not their fans) seem to expect. That's pretty much the story of the Nets season to me, the Nets will be fine, but not meet expectations because the Nets are pushing expectations beyond what's realistic considering the players they lost.

Of the Nets? Nope, i actually think my Knicks are on an upward curve. :lol I know, i know, i don't learn.

The burgers were good, lots of good advice. They turned out to be good meat, which helped. They were too fat at first so they cooked too fast outside. I fixed that. Godzuki was right in a way, a high flame cooks the inside faster but it's a slippery slope. People on this board (some of them) are super unhealthy, "cook in a pile of butter in a frying pan smothered in mustard." That sounds horrible and a heart attack waiting to occur.

haha, i just meant re: plumlee.
i'm the jealous one re: phil jackson...!

but yeasome of the smartest posters on the board still fry / saute in butter. they should be doing it in ghee at the very least, go figure.

when i'm in the mood for a burger i usually get a turkey burger with bleu cheese and grilled onions then throw away the bun and plop it on top of a subways chopped veggie salad. grated garlic, ginger, horseradish / wasabi turns it in to a delicious / mostly healthy burger-salad.

what i learned about meat is that just like most other foods, the healthiest way to eat it is whole and with a minimum of cooking. enough to kill possible parasite eggs / bacteria, but also to avoid producing excess carcinogens.

hmm... i think i might do mexican ceviche tonight.

Shake Shack is now open near Barclays go grab a burger. I also recommend (especially if you are PR like me) the TRES LECHES donut from Doughnut Plant which was so freaking sick good and actually reminded me of Tres Leches cake from my childhood.
