Great for the organization & their fans. His 1st season as head coach, he gave the Clippers their best season as a franchise.

He's black, but he also has two jobs so I don't think its' egregious.

He's the Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations. That's probably why he got a pretty large contract.

It's good to be black on the Clippers right now.

I think he's overrated as a coach, but he's really important for that franchise and he kept them together through the whole Sterling situation, so I'm not surprised at how big this contract is.

That's great that he's staying long-term for them, especially after only 1 year. He was great for keeping that team and organization together during the playoffs. He seems content to hitch his wagon to Griffin's prime, the LA market, and an eager, new owner. I do wonder if he should add more staff to that front office. I don't think all of his moves have been wise from a personnel perspective.

Also got to the 2nd round, so that's a plus.
