No, it just aids in applying for them fast. The thing I used to hate about applying for jobs was feeling out application after application. At least with that, if the site is setup for LinkID you can just apply in a few clicks.

Improve your English first.

It is helpful, but it depends on your experience and profession.

Yeah my older brother has one and some of my friends from high school have one too. Crazy to see that some of them already have legitimate jobs (the ones who just graduated this june) :applause:. Time flies, time to be an adult

Yes, it does actually. You can use contacts at companies to ask about jobs, or to refer you. I've also just gotten two interviews (coming soon) from jobs I applied for via linkedin. So i think it's helpful. It certainly doesn't hurt.

I agree. Especially how some people use it. I've seen friends write like their life stories on there and some people keeping it very brief.

Well, just for the record, I got my current job through linkedin. I also recently hired three people for my team, all of which I found through linkedin as well.

I love linkedin. Yes, it helps. We're in the social networking generation so it's better to have versus not.

Depends on your industry. It probably won't be the best source to help you get your first gig; but if you work in a market with a lot of jobs available and you have a little experience to go with education its a must have.

I'd say at least once a month a recruiter contacts me and asks me if I'd be intersted in interviewing for a job at a competitor.

with a well completed and maintained bio and some meaningful endorsements for your skills, definitely yes.

Absolutely. As a recruiter I have placed multiple people through Linkedin and have been approached a fair bit myself. It's also a good place to make your own contacts, and get approached by employers directly. Make your Bio detailed, tag your skills, position, industries etc and you will be away.
