Who was the better entertainer? Vocally, I think Freddie was the way better singer, but Jackson had the longer career so he may have been the better entertainer overall.

Both were great, but i'd give it to Michael Jackson. He was simply the greatest entertainer ever.

They have an unreleased song that should be coming out later this year on a Queen compilation.

As an overall performer nobody is even in arms distance of MJ. Not even the greats who influenced him.

Voice I give it to the Merc man. As far as entertainment, it's easily MJ. He might very likely be the GOAT entertainer.

They did three songs I believe.

One called Victory for the Jacksons Victory album. Another State of Shock which a demo exist and Freddie was replaced with Mick Jagger.

There Must Be More To Life Than This is the other.

there has never been a better entertainer than MJ but Freddie's vocals were just on another level.

MJ is a total package. But Freddie's singing voice is a lot better. And I like rock sound more so Freddie gets my vote.

I think Frank Sinatra would have been a better comparison, aside from Freddie and Michael both being gay. Freddie isn't in Michael's league. Elvis, however is the greatest entertainer ever. He has the most worldwide record sales(MJ doesn't even crack the top 10), the most top 100 and 40 hits, and although he couldn't dance like Mike, he was an actor and a heartthrob .

Michael Jackson was a very good dancer and a singer of mediocre pop music. He's probably the best "entertainer" of his particular genre, buts lets not act like he wasn't of the same brand of entertainment as Britney Spears or Justin Beiber.

Listen to Mercury sing live and listen to Jackson sing live. You'll have your answer.

Definitely. Freddie was arguably the GOAT rock singer, and was a better, more prolific songwriter, but apparently he wasn't in Jackson's league? :wtf:

Queens shows are legendary, largely on the strength of Mercury's stage presence and talent. He OWNED crowds.

Michael had a better pedigree to be even considered to be in that category. The closest thing to the modern pop era would be Justin Timberlake.
Even Motown legends at the time were revering Michael Jackson's interpretations and vocal styling. Smokey Robinson himself said MJ outdid his version of who's loving you.

Don't put Timberflake in MJs category.
