Youtube videos with fake thumbnails.....

Anybody notice this trend. It takes away from what YT use to be. Every time I am looking for wrestling videos, these kids would post a fake thumbnail and the video would be them playing their video game.

Or when I look for highlights of sports, it would be a video of them doing a review on it.

They need to stop letting these people put these thumbnails to deceive us, just so they can take advantage of the monetary system of YT.

Link to the highlights are in the damn DESCRIPTION, uploader must have thought 5 minutes of playing just one pic was enough time for you to notice :oldlol:
FYI most highlights fall under copyright so they can't be posted on YT, people link to their own websites/blogs where they have hosted the vid.

The more views the uploader gets, the more money the uploader gets.
If they can simply get you to click the link and watch just 2-3 seconds of it, it still counts as a video view. Enough people do it and suddenly that uploader's YouTube account looks popular. And that's when advertisers come.
