Tony Stewart will return to Sprint Cup competition Sunday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway, ending a three-race hiatus taken after he struck and killed a fellow driver during a dirt-track race.

Too soon?
Defiantly guilty. I would have retired from the sport.

He's doing his job. Who cares? Sitting out one race was more than enough really.

accidental murderer
Not sure if serious?
By definition there is no such thing as an "accidental murder" they contradict one another.
It was deemed an accident that Stewart was not responsible for.
If it was determined to be an accident he was responsible for he would have been charged with manslaughter.

Man you guys are heartless. If I took another man's life racing cars, i would retire from the sport. That's too much on my conscious.

He should be suspended.
The NFL suspends people for weed.
Nascar allows you to kill people.

I wouldn't blame you if you didn't wanna race again. Just like you shouldn't blame Tony for wanting to race again.
Life goes on.
I think Tony feels bad, but he also realizes it's not his fault and it would do no justice to the deceased by Tony quitting on everyone who supports his career.

Tony Stewart didn't kill Kevin Ward, Darwin did. Any person dumb enough to get out of his car and walk down further into the race track full of speeding cars angrily pointing his finger is going to get cut from the gene pool. Ward nearly got wiped out by the car in front of Stewart and still didn't jump out of the way.

its pretty obvious he has no conscience. he was ready to race the next one after the hit until he bowed to public pressure/criticism. he was all set to go and not until way later when there was all of this outrage did he make that statement like he was so grieved. he doesn't give a fukk but i'm not really surprised judging from his personality type.

If there is a god, his car will blow up in a fiery crash.
