Baylor (technically he got a ring the year he retired, but he wasn't supposed to qualify for it)

Also, Nash isn't retired.

Barkley (and AI) is easily top 10 for this thread, but i wouldnt say he carried that Phoenix team, he had some nice help w/ KJ, Majerle, Dumas, Ainge etc. Not even sure if im 100% fine with saying AI completely carried his team either, just remembering how much of a beast Deke was, especially in the ECF (where he was probably the MVP of the series imo...).

Yah, Phoenix had a good team. They were probably deeper in talent than Chicago, but Chicago had Michael Jordan. And Scottie Pippen.

Barkley elevated that team's play though, teammates have said he just brought a level of confidence that made them play better.

They were a good defensive team, and their style was to build around Iverson, a tough player to work with stylistically. Lots of role players and guys who concentrated on defense. A.I. carried a heavy load offensively.

List looks about right. I nominate Iverson and Barkley. Baylor too.

Steve Nash isn't retired (yet). But chances are he's going to be on the list eventually.
