Many celebrities praise it and promote it. Does it really work? And why is it so expensive?

Meditation works however it doesn't have to be TM. Celebs rave about meditation because it gives them focus and reigns in their energy. Meditation is simply learning to clear your mind and live in the moment. Once that gets you focused it allows you to use your mental faculties on a higher level.

It's expensive because morons will pay a lot of money to have someone 'enlightened' tell them what to do. At the TM places, they give you a mantra at the end of it all, claiming it's personalized for you.

Just read up and do it yourself for free, or go to a real monastery. Don't pay for some 4 week course type shit.

I would never pay something like 1000$ for a meditation. I just wanted to know what's the all the fuss about. Like what makes it more appealing than any other meditation technique. All the other techniques are free and easy to access. And this one cost like 1000$-1500$.

Have you ever tried this kind of meditation?
