I think that's an interesting era for the NBA - after MJ retired from the Bulls. That was really when streetball started blending in with professional basketball, and we had an influx of players with lots of flair. AI, VC, JWill, Marbury, Kidd, Frobe to name a few.

Who are some of these players you enjoyed watching? Particularly non-star/forgotten players, like Stromile Swift, Tim Thomas. Trying to gather a list of players, possibly put together a mixtape or something.

Darius Miles his first few years with the Clips. Hughes & Arenas with the Warriors was fun to watch. Old Reggie and Old MJ were still awesome imo. Obviously VC, Young TMac and even guys like Morris Peterson and JYD Jerome Williams were super fun to watch for the Raps in the early 00's. Hell, guys like Ricky Davis were entertaining as shit.

I started watched seriously around 01-02 so that's when most of my knowledge starts, but those were some of my favorite players during those early days.

That Raptors team was so fun to watch. The Raps always had pretty exciting players. Young Camby, Keon Clark, Alvin Williams :pimp:

Doug Christie when he had hair, prime Damon Stodumire, Walt Williams being the second best player on the team after Camby was traded, and Clifford Rozier missing wide open layups, over weight Oliver Miller ,and Sharone Wright being bad at everything.

Ricky Davis.

Wrong Rim Ricky :oldlol:

He was on a couple of really exciting teams too. The Cavs before they drafted LeBron were basically Ricky Davis, DMiles, Wagner, Smush Parker - no wonder they got the 1st pick lol
