Comic legend Joan Rivers is on Life Support. No word on her recover or how long her family will keep her around. She's 81.

so sudden and unexpected .. she was fine just the day before .. I'm assuming she was in good health ? .. and was this surgery really necessary ? surgery on an old person is no joke .. I hope my mother never needs one

Interestingly enough the word going around was the night before while doing standup she was joking about how she could go at any minute at her age.

Sad news. Even if you're not a fan, she's a legend and trailblazer for female comics. I got a chance to work with her a couple of years ago, she was very nice in person.

i'm actually surprised some people here like her, since she's very politically incorrect. i don't mind her, think she's alright, not great, not bad either. some stuff she says makes me laff but she can be very offensive to sensitive people tho :lol

Yes, but maybe she will recover & do some self reflection(I doubt it) about calling for the genocide off anyone. Despite how despicable it was I don't take joy at her death or languishing.

Helen Thomas said far less about Israel & was villainized.
