Not really. Rondo has always been puzzling to figure out and it's always difficult to read him flat out.

Rondo's people are denying McMullan's report. IMO he will only settle for one of three things:

1. If the Celtics still suck, max.
2. Celts bring in a superstar, he may settle for a "reasonable" deal (I'm not sure what that would be).
3. A new team.

If Rondo is dealt I cannot see it happening before the trade deadline (to maximize return).

A lot can happen between now and then - the C's have loads of assets to trade and shake up the team.
