I've never liked Terry because he always killed the Rockets. Now he's on the team...

I'm not sure which guys they're sending to SAC, but if the trade is like this:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l4oa3zq

Then I guess HOU technically brings in more $ w/o using its TPE to send out for another possible trade. Idk if Jet has anything left if they can't move him, though.

The LeBron curse, anyone who tries to upstage LeBron in the finals has their career turned upside down.

First Stephenson basically flamed out, Terry turned into a journey man. Kawhi's probably next

Terry, a bench player, destroyed Bron's legacy.

Simply unheard of.

Great career from the JET.

Sacramento will send Houston two second-round picks in deal, including one second via the Knicks, league sources tell Yahoo.

One of those NBA player who brought back the long socks in the NBA in the late 1990's.

Not really a bad trade for Houston.

I think the Kings get Alonzo Gee and Scotty Hopson

Rockets get Terry AND Two 2nd round picks

Morey basically buying two second rounders for $5M. Can flip Terry as expiring deal for something else. Not bad

Not to mention he's got ~$1.3M more in salary as a result of this (assuming Hopsin + Gee only guys moved), so he can include more $ in a trade to better match contracts. Idk the protections on the picks or anything, but this is a small move that lead to a potential deal down the line. If it doesn't, well I'm not sure how much more Terry's got in the tank.

The projections of the two second round picks are from 31-45. Rockets can include these in another trade or just keep them. After all, Morey is a pretty good 2nd round drafter.

Well that's not a bad move. Only potential downside is other teams wanting non-guaranteed deals instead of an expiring, but those 2nd rounders actually aren't that bad. We've seen some teams, especially HOU, draft some useful players in that range.

Not a bad deal considering the Rockets gave up nothing to get two high 2nd round picks...

As far as Terry... I thought he retired.

Lebron will forever be left off the goat list because of a role player

Jason Terry was pretty much always the 2nd leading scorer for the Mavs during his time there. Do you really think he was their 6th best player? Was prime Manu a role player as well?

terry is crazy underrated

his prime was a lot better than rookie-finalsmvp Parker, who duncann and pop won a few titles with.

I've said many times, Jason Terry is the greatest player in NBA history to never make an ASG. No doubt. Also, Dallas don't win in 2011 without him. He is older now, so he is not like he was but he is still going to be good for that Houston bench. And Houston is a team that really needs some bench scoring.

Lots of doubt.
Rod Strickland, Jalen Rose, Mike Bibby... maybe Odom and Camby too.

I love JET. I assume this will probably be his last year in the NBA, so it's cool that he gets a chance to close out his career back in Texas. Hopefully he gives the Rockets some good minutes and goes out in style.

HOU continues to make moves but who is their back-up PG? They have the weakest Guard rotation right now in the NBA on paper.

I'm assuming Pat Bev will start and then i see they have Ish Smith who i don't see as a 2nd string option at all, Isaiah Canaan & Nick Johnson.

Is this just a case of Harden has the ball so strong PG isn't needed?

Maybe Terry can rub some of his wisdom onto Troy Daniels?

Gee is better than Derrick Williams and hopefully it means we don't sign that turd Casspi if we do get Gee, Gee is a very decent back up SF. Easily the 2nd best SF on the roster by a wide margin.

If he wants his jersey retired in Dallas he better not ink a Rocket on that body.

If he pulls a Lamar Odom in Dallas on the other hand he gets a miniature statue next to Dirk. :lol
