"Free-agent forward Hedo Turkoglu is close to re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday night. The contract would be for one season and the veterans' minimum of $1.4 million, according to the report.

The 35-year-old Turkoglu played in 38 games with the Clippers last season after structuring a buyout of his contract with the Orlando Magic. In just more than 10 minutes per game with Los Angeles, Turkoglu averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Throughout a 14-year NBA career with the Clippers, Magic, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and San Antonio Spurs, Turkoglu has averaged 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game."

Clippers are at their best when they have a lineup of 4 shooters and 1 big.

If Griffin can become that 4th shooter. They will be unstoppable.

He's older than i remembered. Clips better off signing a defensive big with that roster space.

Why sign this guy..he's way past his prime. He was not that good last season. You can't tell me that there is nothing better or younger out there.

Waste of a roster spot and money imo. Dude is done. Only had some flash in the pan seasons in Orlando anyways. I mean, much credit to him for his role in going to the Finals (he was one of their leaders), but no team is going to put the ball in his hands that much anymore, and he's inefficient.
