They are too old this year duncan and ginobili will basically be useless parker will be okay but another year older. Leonard is not good enough to be a star player basically the whole team will go to shit.

Spurs will probably break 60+ wins and get the first seed now that you made this thread.

Thread self destructed after 15 minutes, but it happened just after the Euroleague meltdown.

Cool. Not sure if the banning itself is the takeaway since I don't know how often it'll be used, but now it's a legitimate deterrent, so there won't be as much trolling.

Give pops 6 months with 5 role players + some NCAA bench players, and he can probably make the playoffs in the East.

Now we know pop is good, but let's not get ahead ourselves.

Nonetheless, still a better chance than the Spurs missing the POs

A bit too bold of a prediction IMO. I think however that they will be a lower seed, since Mills is injured, Manu was injured, Duncan is obviously aging and they just came off a championship, so they won't be as motivated as they were last year.

I don't wish this on any team EVER but I think they will have some injury concerns throughout the season with their core aging. It's just inevitable for the Spurs IMO. They didn't repeat the first 4 times they won a title, something has always come up. Either an injury or a massive choke in the POs.

Exactly. Cut off their food supply and they'll die off.

There would be some validity here if the team depended on their core but the entire make up and design of this squad is predicated on depth and overall team concept.

Which is precisely why they can get away with guys like Parker, Manu, TD and Kawhi being injured over the course of the season.

Its tough to win a Championship but we all know anything less than a repeat and those on this forum are going to call it a "choke" job.
