Pick a span of 5 consecutive drafts, choose one player from each draft, and build the absolute best starting 5 you can.

Condition: 1984, 1996, and 2003 Drafts are off the table. So if they fall under one of the 5 year spans you choose, skip over them…so starting in 1995, you’d get the 1995, 1997-2000 drafts.

All players are healthy and at their peak.

My 5, from 1992-1997 (skipping over 1996):

Jason Kidd (1994)
Penny Hardaway (1993)
Tracy McGrady (1997)
Kevin Garnett (1995)
Shaquille O’Neal (1992)

Yours?

So why exactly are 84 and 96 being omitted if you can only pick 1 player from each year anyways? lol.

Trying to take LeBron, Kobe & Jordan stans out of the equation?

Anyways, dumb thread is dumb.

So it doesn't turn into a Jordan/LeBron/Kobe stan war presumably.

And the only place you ****ed up was picking Kidd over Hill.

Why would you put Hardaway and Kidd on the same team?

Very nice. Most here are gonna ignore the "healthy and at their peak" part when it comes to Sabonis but he was a monster at his peak before the NBA..

Definitely. Sabonis was one of a kind. He was just a very elite all-around center. There was nothing he couldn't do during his peak.
