Just read it you illiterate pha ggots.

A wise man once told me the ultimate goal of life is to live it happy. And believe it or not, that is what everyone on this earth is striving for. Sure you can throw in the complications of religion and praying to god, but god has never been proven and heaven isn’t a sure thing. I believe that once you die, its over. You lived the life you lived and only thing that follows is how people remember you for whatever length of time that they do. What IMO matters most is the quality of life you live while you’re on this earth. Even the most devout religious people, unless they’re just batshi t insane and hoping for some insane glory afterlife (reoccurring theme amongst religious fanatics), try their best to optimize their time on this earth in the life that they are living in the present. But life is cruel. There are many problems. Wives, bosses, unruly kids, parents, siblings, friends, family, anyone or anything you could consider could be ruining your life and bogging down your ‘happiness level’. At the end of the day what matters the most is your personal happiness level which is driven by your satisfaction level. You can be the most just guy, the most moral guy, the most loyal guy, the most accomplished guy, the most religious guy praying to you your gods for heavenly bliss, etc. But what matters most is that HEAVENLY BLISS. How you feel about yourself and to a lesser extent, how you feel in the moment. Every one wants to achieve this phenomenon. It should be everyone’s goal. From the dad that takes pride out of being a great dad to satisfy his needs of being the perfect father to satisfy his primal needs (yes there are more primal needs for humans than just sex) to the homeless guy that finally got to buy that McDonalds meal that he likes and enjoy its blissful glory and salivate at the taste and fill his empty stomach. Ultimately every human being desires satisfaction. Satisfaction is the ultimate driver of life.

So what is satisfaction. There are two types of satisfactions, long term (hardly achieve by even the most accomplished people, and short term). Satisfaction is a moment of bliss where you bask in all your glory and thing of how good times are and there are no worries in the world and you can just relax and be merry and be happy and have a good time. Satisfaction isn’t permanent though. That’s just human nature. You might start off with a dream of becoming a millionaire, but once you become a millionaire, you want a 100 million. Then once you have a 100 million, you want a billion. And once you have a billion, you want even more and so on and so on. It never stops. I think that is important to human kind to succeed and evolve. No one can be happy for ever and that is important for human sucess. If a person is happy forever, he’ll never do another thing. He’ll just be satisfied and just sit on it. But what if happiness and satisfaction could be brought upon for a short period of times. What if we could just bask in our glory for what little we have done for a little bit of time and just forget about everything else and just relax and enjoy and rest our brains and get charged up for the next day? What if you could say tonight I have a night off and tonight I want to be happy and be satisfied and just ENJOY my time. As a human being in an evolved society free of any slavery, I think every person has a right to enjoy SOME TIME as being satisfied and being happy. That’s why before drugs were discovered, meditation was such a big deal. And it still follows us today. Ultimately the ultimate goal of life is to be able to enjoy yourself. So why not at least be able to enjoy that experience for at least a couple of hours a night? Everyone deserves at least that much. We all have some wretched lives, can we at least get a couple of moments to reset ourselves?

And that’s where weed comes in. Weed lets you relax. Weed lets you celebrate. It gives you a few moment of relaxation. Life is a workout. During a hard workout you push and push yourself and then you are out of breath. After you wear yourself out, you need rest. To let your body breath, to let your body relax, to let your body recuperate and be ready for the next day for the next workout. The brain is much the same way. Everyday life is a workout. You push and you push. You’re a good dad, a good husband, a good employee, you’re saving the company money, you’re teaching your kids values, you’re supporting your wife mentally, you’re nourishing external intrapersonal relationships to the max, you’re doing all you can despite all the external factors working against you to drive you down and ruin your life. You’re dealing with those external factors and tackling them head on and pushing them aside and making sure nothing comes in between your goals and the real life. You’re working hard. You’re doing your best. Its fu cking exhausting. Your ultimate goal is happiness, just like any other person. Short term or long term, the ultimate goal is happiness. Level +50 or level +75 or level +100. You desire the most you could fuc king attain. How can you do that? Weed.

Weed gives you that. And much more. From my personal experience and all the people I’ve talked to that do smoke weed, it is the fu cking elixir to life. It lets you relax. It resets your brain against the daily struggles. It mellows you out (unlike alcohol which makes some people fight). It gives your brain that break it ever so desires from the grind of that everyday life. I take it akin to letting my brain to take it’s clothes off and sit in a hot tub after a hard workout and let the hot water and the bubbles work out all the stress of the workout. For me personally, when I’m high, it alters my point of view. It makes me appreciate and gloat about all the things I’ve done and then at the same time ridicule me about the things that I haven’t accomplished and how I need to improve. So after each session I wake back up with a fresher prospective and a newer frame of mind. IMO there are many different ways to perceive a given situation. Your brain doesn’t always grasp them all. It takes an alternative perspective to give you a view of the situation from other people’s point of view. Weed does that for me. I can see a situation from a 100 different angles and differentiate between what’s legit and what’s not. No one can be perfect, but one can definitely try to snub out the ventures that are projecting him to look like less than optimal. Weed lets me expand my mental point of view and see things from different angles and make me better from that sense. Overall it makes me better all around and more aware of my surroundings. Weed.

The best part about weed is that it lets you relax. You just quit thinking about the everyday grind. You don’t exactly quit thinking, but you quit thinking about the REALITY for a while. And trust me that is insanely blissful. You just sit back on your couch all glazy eyed and just relax. All the stress lifted off your shoulders and you’re just sitting there as an empty shell of yourself, just like it used to be when you were watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers when you were 8. Hopefully you’re in front of the TV at the time, because even the dumbest things look insanely awesome. I remember watching an episode of Black Dynamite while high and remember thinking that it was the greatest moment in TV history. I would have never watched that show normally, but while high on weed, it just captivated me and I watched the whole thing and was just blown away with the whole thing. I mean (at least the way I remember) there was a guy with an insanely huge dick that gets murdered after a dick showing show and gets his dick chopped off, Black Dynamite gets on the case and his associate goes undercover and he’s a poet and rhymes everything and he infiltrates the porn industry and starts seducing girls with his rhymes, and every time he rhymes the girls panties start dropping and that was just so awesomely hilarious to watch how that was illustrated, how the panties dropped, I couldn’t contain myself. It was the greatest moment in Adult Swim History to me. Ultimately, the overall experience to a mediocre at best show was epically awesome. A simple TV show became a great laugh fest. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and couldn’t have been any happier and more enthralled despite all my problems. Weed and TV made me happy for a while and gave me a much deserved break from real life. A time that I remembered for a very long time and reflected back upon to laugh at whenever I was feeling down. You know how that was made possible? Weed.

No matter the level of our accomplishments, ultimately what every human being wants is a little bit of happiness. I’m a business professional, a CPA, with a good career and have done well for myself. I have loving parents, an over achieving little sister who is my only sibling, a beautiful girlfriend that is friendly and faithful and also has a good career. I live in a nice house, drive a nice car, and wear nice clothes, in shape, get hit on by girls on the regular. Things are going well for me. But still the daily grind is bad. I worry about living up to my boss’s expectations. Doing well at my job. Pleasing my girlfriend enough to keep her in love with me. Make sure I pay all my bills. Keep up with my family and meet all their needs. Keep up with all my friends. Keep everyone happy. I was in the army, and made many lifelong friends. My best friend was from the same town that I’m from and got out of the army and is now working a regular job. He’s married, has kids, didn’t go to college so he’s not overly accomplished. He still managed to have an ok house, and ok car, but has a hard time with his bills from time to time. His wife is hot (married the hottest girl from our unit when we were all privates, he used to be the man), and now he’s afraid that his daughter would be hot too and is afraid that she’ll grow up and will have all the guys chasing her and could turn into a slut (so he’s always struggling to teach her the right values and always watching over her). Always scared of his wife cheating on him (so am I and every other realistically rational guy at some level). Mom’s sick, dad’s divorced her. Overall he has more problems than I do, I think. At least that’s what he tells me. We get together every weekend and smoke some weed. It’s a wonderful time for both of us. We’re both two different people from different walks of life with a different set of problems. But we both forget about all of our problems for a while when we get together and smoke weed. Its just the two of us and all the good times we’ve had. And all the times we have together on weed is just another instance of the good times we’ve had together to talk and think about at a later time. We forget about all of the problems and just relax and enjoy and be HAPPY. What brings that blissful feeling on? Weed.

Ultimately I think that weed is a very powerful tool to help the human kind achieve the ultimate goal for human kind - happiness. It just has a quality that brings upon a feeling of happiness and relaxation for any user. A feeling that we are all searching for throughout our lives and a feeling that should be the ultimate goal for all. The feeling that weed brings on isn’t permanent, and that is also a good thing. A permanently happy and content person ultimately becomes a lazy person. Weed only lets us sample that happiness and at the same time motivates us to do better when we recover from the high. What it is, is a break from real life that recharges us all. The high from weed is a little moment in life where we put everything aside and just sit back and let our brain and our bodies and our lives get recharged. We take a break from all the problems and become happy for a little bit and come back recharged and better and fresher than before. Now I’m not advocating smoking weed 24/7. That would be a total hindrance, but once in a while, maybe on the weekend nights, or if you need it bad enough depending on your life, a hit before going to bed every night, it could do us all a good bit of good. If I were to be given a choice between chosing alcohol or weed, I would chose weed. Not only does it give you a better experience, it keeps you more peaceful, makes you more self aware, makes you happier, makes you happier and more merry, doesn’t lead to as many bad decisions, doesn’t make you black out, and doesn’t make you all hung over the next day but instead leaves you feeling better and more recharged for the rest of the day. I think the law and the society has it all wrong when it comes to weed. Weed is not a drug that should be feared. It is a very valuable recreational drug. Not only is it much safer and holds much more value than alcohol. There is all kinds of research that proves the good medicinal virtues of weed. Weed is light years better than alcohol. You can OD and die if you drink too much alcohol but no such cases have ever been reported for weed. Weed should be totally legalized. Not only would that curb crime but it would also raise tax revenue for the government. The benefits are tenfold. The only think holding us back is the conservative mentality.

Yeah we all know reading more than 2 sentences of non Lebron related post gives you a brain aneurism. So save yourself the trouble.

IMO weed should become the new alcohol, alcohol the tobacco, and tobacco should be obliterated.

It would be harder to make a case against legalizing Marijuana.

I don't know about the whole "makes you forget about your daily grind." That only happened for me when doing an activity after smoking. If I were just chilling with friends, maybe watching TV at most, we'd all end up discussing our problems. It was a downer.
I love(d) smoking reefer, but without it now for a month & a half I feel like my mind is more refreshed, I am not as lazy as I used to be, and I feel more motivated to do things. In fact, since quitting smoking, I've actually made a plan for my future. When I was smoking everyday, I felt like I was boxed in and never getting out.
Still, I agree. Weed ought to be legalized. It does calm people done. I've never been angry after smoking, even if put in a situation that would lead to anger, such as, say, a road rage incident or someone talking shit.
If I could smoke again without jeopardizing job opportunities, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Well, having recently moved to Amsterdam this isn't a problem for me.

But yeah, that all drugs should be legalised in some way is glaringly evident to anyone with a bit of self-respect. The distinction between medical and non-medical drugs is also nonsensical because nearly all of them has some potential medical properties that haven't been looked into sufficiently, it's usually why they were designed in the first place.
