Celtics vs 76ers in 1981 has to be top3 at the very least.

2013: SAS vs Miami is one of the best. 7-games, crazy performances from both sides (Green, Wade, Lebron, Old TD looking like young TD, etc), clutch shots from both teams as well. you can't ask for much more from a Finals than what we saw in 2013 IMO.

2009 Celtics-Bulls is top 5 at worst

This. It was really only good during the last 2 games of the series.

This. Probably the most entertaining series I have ever watched.

By different teams. That's what made it so crazy.

4 Blowouts , 3 games that could have gone either way with a different bounce here and there.

2012 ECF was pretty damn exciting too

Better than the Lakers-Kings 2002.

5 of the 7 games going down to the wire....better officiating. More physical play allowed.

Games 3-5, especially game 5 of the 2014 Finals is legit fap material if you enjoy watching team basketball..

True, that series was just pure gold. Great players, great teams, great matchups, great play, physicality, no ticky tack fouls, no refs "screwing" games with technicals, ejections and whatnot (even got Cornbread fighting a fan lmfao), games going down to the wire (5 ended up in a 2-point difference or less), 7-game series, lots of big emotions... Basketball at its finest.

No series had more clutch shots and more close minutes than that one, that's for sure.

The 2013 Finals was indeed unusual with the back-and-forth games, with each team winning by large margins, and then the classic game 6 and another close game in the 7th.

Sort of like the 1988 Finals, where the 6th game was classic and the 7th was very good too. Lakers almost blew it in the 4th.

1981 ECF between Boston and Philly was still the best I've seen though.

some others have mentioned a few of the best ones - 81 ECF Celts/Sixers (1982 isn't too shabby for what it's worth), 09 Bulls/Celts, 98 Bulls/Pacers, 88 Finals had two of the best games in 6 and 7 but the first 5 weren't close, similar to 13 Finals. 02 Lakers/Kings isn't a bad pick just because that series was so memorable, might be the most memorable of the new millennium along with last year's Finals.

would like to add 84 Finals Celts/Lakers, 06 Mavs/Spurs, both 94 and 95 Rockets/Suns (comeback factor is huge), 00 Lakers/Blazers, 87 Celts/Pistons. Memphis/OKC this year might've made it had Z-Bo not been suspended.
