No, that was RedBlackAttack. I didn't care one way or the other. I was fine if he came back, I was fine if he didn't with our young core. I never hated LeBron, I just didn't like the way he handled The Decision.

Some excerpts from Woj Dumb in this instance.

Thompson over Jonas Valanciunas made no sense on draft day, and makes even less now

Privately, the Cleveland front office has pitched a fantasy of trading young players and picks to Portland for All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, sources said. Only, that's never going to happen.
Except it was Kevin Love. :oldlol:

And all the Shane Battiers and Ray Allens who had come into James' life with the Heat wouldn't join him in Cleveland. As Battier told Yahoo! Sports in March about the lure of LeBron James for veteran free agents willing to take discounts to chase championships with him, "It'll help him if he's in a warm city."
Except it was Shawn Marion, Mike Miller, James Jonse and possibly Ray Allen. :oldlol:

After the Cavs disastrous season, the whole Bynum fiasco, and the Dion-Kyrie issues, I didn't think LeBron was coming back either.

LeBron sacrificed a lot and swallowed a lot of pride in order to come back which is praiseworthy :applause:

Really unbelievably embarrassing in retrospect for Woj. This is the most "trustworthy" journalist on the NBA scene and he couldn't have been more wrong... about everything.

I think I'll tweet him now and demand an apology.

Left a declining team for a stacked team w/ two Superstars ages 22 and 25 with a much better supporting cast.

What did he sacrifice again? Leaving a declining Wade and a Chris Bosh who is now 30 years old?

You are the softest poster this site has ever seen. You and all your alt's.

Lebron isn't fooling anyone. He knew Love was coming, hence not mentioning Wiggins or Bennett but mentioning the players who would still be there Irving, Waiters, Thompson, and Varejao.

But yet it's going to "take time"…..in the leastern conference? That's as Beta as it gets lil boy.

I'm sure landing the #1 pick (3rd in 4 years no less) didn't hurt.

No bran is just a good guy, he's joining a team that didn't even make the playoffs last season..

How great is our gawd

He took the easiest way out. Its the only team he could jump ship back to without having his image damaged even more. He left a bunch of old dinosaur to play with a bunch of youth. How does one work for someone who publicly called him out with the letter? Thats not swallowing pride, thats called officially labeled as a b1tch. LeOwned.
Gilbert is working for Lebron, not the other way around. Dan knows that if he doesn't get Lebron some help this time Lebron will leave, which is why Lebron has a 1 year opt out. Gilbert will NEVER have leverage over Lebron again! :pimp:

Lmao gilbert is alpha as fcuk. He pretty much pimp slapped Lebron with the letter and Lebron just took it like a good little b1tch. How the hell do you let someone talk down to you like that calling you a quitter and a cowardly backstabber then come back to them. He even said Lebron deserve to lose in 2011 cause he said Lebron took a shortcut. Lol, that just means Lebron is a beta.

ehh you make some good points with some bad ones here.

yes the cavs had a disastrous offseason.

Bynum was as bad or worse than reported.

The Dion Kyrie issues were totally overblown.

But i was with you. I didn't think he was coming back after that either. I guess some recent stuff came out about how much the players really didn't like playing for Chris Grant, and that he often threatened to trade the guys if they didn't get their act together.

After they won the lottery i started to believe, but i was like windy. No way was I going all in on that train unless it happened.

Now as a die hard cavs fan who has watched every single game of the post Lebron era (thanks DVR) my team is about to start a season with a starting lineup of Bron, Dion, Kyrie, Love, Andy???????

This was a monumental offseason on par with anything in NBA history.

EDIT:

with the windy thing, there was a point and time after that terrible terrible Knicks loss on national TV where Windy did an interview with RCF.

He said Lebron was speaking to him about that game and Windy said something like "Lebron told me something that I would never, ever repeat to cavs fans. It's too devastating" or something like that.

My interpretation is that Lebron probably told Windy he was thinking of coming back but after the year the cavs had wasn't going to do it.
