I have the privilege to watch everyone of these games.

The double-nickel passing of the torch game was fantastic and the game in '97. The greatest match up in sports history.

Less minutes but much more dominant than MJ.

Not a Kobe fan, but I must admit your are absolutely correct. Jordan struggled to guard a 19 year old Kobe! :facepalm Tells you just how overrated his defense is.

To be fair to MJ, Pippen guarded him too. They threw a bunch of guys on Kobe and he destroyed them all.

I think if MJ was to cover Kobe full time, MJ's scoring would have dropped and Kobe's scoring would have topped 40 points because he figured out MJ already.

98 games were good too even though they were pretty much even but Kobe played 11 less minutes. If given the green light MJ would have got shit on again.

Reminds me of the 91 Finals. Jordan getting torched by Magic, so Pippen is forced to do MJ's job for him. :facepalm Pippen = the real 1991 Finals MVP.

its not the alphas job to do the dirty work but the brans. The brans passes to the alphas for game winning shots.

Kobe outplaying an old man. Amazing lol

A pretty high number of Kobe's 33 points in the December 97' game came during garbage time.

The first meeting was a classic game. Jordan was shooting like shiit. Shaq and Van Exel were on fire and up 17 in the 4th. Kukoc went ballistic in the 4th and OT. There was also that great left-handed dunk by Randy Brown on Elden Campbell.

Far more impressive than when you see ppl get so excited when someone dunks on a guy half a foot shorter than him.

Exactly. Been telling MJ fans to stop their ramblings about MJ being better than Kobe especially when I prove so many wrong.

I am just here to post facts.

Yep.

When matched up against MJ, Kobe played less minutes, shot the ball better and better overall game.

I like how people call MJ old at 33-34 years of age but Kobe fans and other haters alike never bring up Kobe's age as an excuse.

Kobe was still beasting before the achilles and may well be beasting again.

GOATbe gonna Goatbe.

I'm confused Jordan outplays Kobe in 5 of 7 meetings and despite a 55-point game by Kobe MJ still has better stats and somehow you determine this information favors Kobe?

Stupid or liar?

Better stats? How? :lol

This is why I don't post here as often, the full blown retards, especially when I posted facts.

Kobe played better, won, and played less minutes.

Too easy.

Not really a fan of Kobe or you as a poster, but on this topic you are 100% on point. Jordan averaged about 1.5 more points than Kobe, but shot worse from the field, worse from 3, and worse from the FT line! :facepalm
Once you factor in that half of these matchups occurred when Kobe was fresh out of high school, that makes it even more embarrassing for Jordan. :lol :lol :lol Just imagine if Kobe had been in his prime for all of their meetings?

:applause:

I'll go with the bolded

Jordan: 24.5 pts, 4.3 rebs, 3.6 ast

Kobe: 22.8 pts, 4.3 rebs, 4.1 ast

:facepalm

Somehow this equals young and prime version of Kobe dominated past prime MJ and old man version of MJ

Once you factor in that Jordan was playing against E. Jones and Shaq while Kobe was riding the pine, then maybe that will sink into that large thing you call a head and understand there was not a ton of them going against each other.

Only thing Kobe does better than Jordan is shoot threes.
