Is no better than Marbury's. The guy depends on athleticism.

How about your IQ? You really can't tell that his athleticism is there? That his current issue is about rust.

The "issue" is always going to be about rust because he always comes back way late from his injuries.

He didn't come back late from his previous injury. That's why the meniscus gave way. You guys don't even update your hate files.

Kevin Love had a much better PER than Westbrook last year while being a far inferior player. What's your point?

His current issue is about his mental state to overcome the injuries. His perennial issues has been his below average Bball IQ. He can't impact the game at a high level like a Superstar should because he's not that smart.

He won MVP running a new young team that had crazy injuries and had the best record with barely any player being top ten in any category. He won mvp in a landslide when the league had super talented teams, veteran teams, older teams, seasoned teams, better constructed teams, and most that were healthy for the whole season. He was the youngest player ever to win the MVP despite the team challenges. At 22 years most of the GOAT players never made that impact. And his burden was greater than any other superstar player that year. And look at how bad all of the superstar players played when in a new situation. Lebron, Wade, Kobe, DH, Chris Paul, Dirk all struggled bad in new situations with their teams.

And maybe you can tell me what year a superstar had his team dominate the elite teams in the league the last 3 and a half months of the season? And they did that with great burden on Rose because the coach didn't have a lot of offensive sets.

I agree with OP in his assessment, I see him as a Marbury without the crazy.

What's with you guys? Rose really that easy to hate on?

I could think of one guy who deserves shit and it isn't Rose...

I hate Derrick Rose as much as the next guy, but I see him having a top 5-8 season and leading the Bulls to a championship this year.

:applause:

I root for the team Rose plays on, and I'll support the players who are on the team, but I'm not Rose's biggest fan. I prefer pass first point guards.

That's not to say I don't like him, he's exciting, but he's definitely not my favourite player on the team. Not even top 3.
