Obviously prior to this current Cavs team.

I'm thinking LeBrons Heat teams as well. Did Bosh have an argument to be a Top 7 PF anytime from 2011-2014?

The Big 3 Heat definitely, and maybe teams like the Big 3 Celtics and the Spurs at some point. Would the '96 Bulls qualify, was Rodman a top 7 PF in '96?

Spurs a countless number of years when Manu/Duncan/Parker were in or near their prime.

Close, but not quite. Ibaka's at most Top 12 among PF's.

If you value defense he's top 5.

In terms of JUST shot blocking? Definitely Top 5.

Better question is when was the last time a team had top 2 players at 2 positions?

Durant = top 2 SF
Westbrook = top 2 PG

Last year: Love is an overrated empty stat padder who can't lead a team

This year: Love is a top 2 PF

He's easily a top 2 PF. I've always said Love is a great player. He played in Minnesota and was voted in by fans over D12, Dirk, Duncan.. People recognize how good he is.. Not just me.

Pretty sure he had the 3rd highest PER last year, which according to lebron fans would mean he is the 3rd best player in the game

OKC in 2012 and 2014. They had 3 top 3 players at their positions...

2014 Ibaka isn't a top 3 PF. Not even close

He's a solid player, but let's be real. Defense counts. If you're going to ues PER as your measurement for greatness, never put Kobe in the top 10 of all time list again.

Blake Griffin was 3rd in MVP voting last year, we gonna act like K Love is better than him?

Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin, Chris Bosh, arguably LMA are all better.

If you consider career achievements, Dirk, Duncan, and all the other guys I listed about are better.

The 2012 thunder had 3 TOP THREE players at their positions.

Also Spurs with TD/TP/Manu.
Tbh Spurs right now too-Kawhi is top 7 SF.
Celtics during big 3 era at some points arguably 4 w/Rondo
Suns w/ Nash Marion Amare JJ
Bulls 2011-12 Rose Noah Deng
Lakers 2012 Kobe Pau Bynum
billups wallaces hamilton prince pistons
Dirk Finley Nash
2011-14 Heat

Apparently you can't read the only reason I brought up PER is because bran stans hold that stat in such high regard.

Love & Griffin are probrably the 2 best PF in the game

And why would bring up career achievements when determining who is currently the better player..

Dirk, Ellis, Parsons, and Chandler are probably all top 7 at their positions.

Because leadership/intangibles definitely account for part of being a great player.

I'd still take AD or Bosh over love, and possibly LMA. If you consider defense, Love definitely isn't top 2. Bosh was putting up similar numbers to Love before Miami, but with much stronger defense. Now he has championship experience, and will likely be the leader in Miami.

I thought Bosh was a poor defender in Toronto? Or at least didn't put much effort into it

he wasn't Ibaka on D, but he was still solid. Definitely better than what K Love was defensively on the Wolves

The underrating of Bosh is hilarious. The guy was 24/11 on 52% the season before joining the Heat. He was top 5 in PER, along with both Wade and LeBron. I doubt a team has ever had 3 players in the top 5 PER on the same team.

You could make an argument for my Warriors as well. Curry and Thompson are obviously top 7 at their position. D. Lee and Bogut are both arguably top 7 as well.

Warriors. Steph, Klay and Iggy are all top 5 easy

then u have Lee who is arguable and a healthy Bogut is top 7 but hes almost never ready for the playoff...............

And what did those gaudy stats lead to? Missing the playoffs in the pathetic east? It's funny how he's the only player to finish in the top 10 in PER that year, that played at least 70 games, and failed to make the playoffs.

It's a team sport. Prime Melo missed the playoffs in the East as well.

Chandler very well may not be a top 20 center.
