If Chicago can get Allen, they'll be looking pretty good, I think.

Does he have anything left?

Does he have anything left?
He must. While everyone on this forum talks shit about him, he keeps having multiple teams after his services...I guess shows how much you all know. Besides, if that waste of space Derek Fisher could still be getting minutes last season...then Ray could play for 5 more years because he was ten times better than that black hole this past season.

He can help them but they still have to have a starting SG, ideally one that won't gripe if he's benched in crunch time. Because although he's still the most dangerous clutch shooter in the league I doubt he can handle more than 20 minutes per at his age.

This is like fiver years after we really could've used him.
I think I remember during the 09 trade deadline there was talk of acquiring him and Big Baby for Hinrich and Tyrus Thomas. Damn we should've forced the issue on that trade!
But still, I think he could help us tons. If we start Dunleavy and Butler, you really don't need to define their positions. They're just the starting swingmen and during crunch time Ray can fill the SG.
Ok.
Ray Ray is not a starter anymore ... but he can give 15 quality cluth time minutes of super high % quality exterior shooting.
If you combine him with McDermott killing from the 3 too and a healthy Rose, Gasol and Noah forcing rivals to defend close of his rim .... the duo MacDermott and Allen will have tons of easy 3s.

There's noone currently on the Heat who wears #6..
But in the off chance you might be hinting at LeBron.. nice try buddy but leaving the 2 time champion Heat for the no playoffs in 4 years Cavs seems to be the opposite of ringchasing don't you think :confusedshrug:

off topic but do you honestly think that PER is the best to gauge how good a player is? Does it tell us who the best players in the game are

Not always but the drastic difference between LeBron and Kobe in PER means that there is no way you can argue Kobe is even close to LeBron as an overall player

Hey buddy its not the 2010-11 season. D-Wade can't play enough regular season games anymore and no matter what any of us think of the Dinosaur, the truth is he's 30 years old and isn't getting younger. The Heat are on the down swing after 4 years and the Cavs are now the favorites to either get to the finals or win them.
Kyrie Irving 22, Kevin Love 25. Both allstar/superstar levels to go w/ a plethora of good/great role players Waiters, Thompson, Andy V, Mike Miller, Shawn Marion etc.
Excuses is all you post these days. You are pouring out an overload of betaness. As expected from a FRONT RUNNER.
