Lmao. I hope this is in reference to the previous thread regarding fedoras.

But your right, invest in a bunch of different hats. Or buy a wig. Or just shave your head and own your baldness

You should sell car insurance. Maybe snort a bit of coke too.

I feel for you.

One of the unfair realities of life, something you shouldn't be dealing with at such a young age.

Shave it bald. Im serious. Try to grow a beard, get ripped and wear sunglasses all of the time. Women love manly guys. It is scientifically proven baldness indicates the man is powerful. This isnt a bad thing thats happening to you, its a opportunity staring you in the face.

Get on finasteride immediately. I wish I had done it sooner. Don't listen to the horror stories. Most people are fine on it. Also use regenepure shampoo every single day. I've put a complete stop to the balding process as of now and even reversed about 2 years of hair loss.

Meh. Honestly. If you are gonna lose it at 22 you are screwed ( i assume ur whiteish). Just accept it. there is literally nothing u can do. However, if you eat super welll (no processed foods basically) you can still have the skin energy of youngins.

 That must be why I have not only put a complete stop to my balding process, but even reversed some of it.

I talk from personal experience. I'm a blonde Nordic looking guy and I'm far from screwed.

The eating clean is good advice though. If it wasn't for my impeccable diet and healthy lifestyle I'd probably be worse off by now.

Depends on the person. Both of my brothers are losing their hair, but it is not so bad that they need to shave completely bald. With others, the shaved head look goes well.

No matter what you do though, rock it confidently and nobody should really give a shit. I think people make a bigger deal about losing their own hair than others actually care. I've known plenty of balding/bald dudes with attractive gfs/wives too, so don't let that aspect scare you either.

no cure or treatment works for baldness. It's a myth. Ask any dermatologist.

Finasteride or whatever the f*ck it's called sometimes only slows the progression of hair loss and can screw with your hormones permanently. You are just flushing money down the toilet and/or potentially f*cking with your gonads. Not worth the risk.

Just accept it. Wait for a real cure.

This is coming from a balding man. The sooner you own it, the sooner it stops becoming a problem and it just becomes who you are.

I had much more success with women after I just started buzzing it real close and I also found my wife.

Now i just let it grow out normally. F*ck it, i'm married, and i'm at a stage in my career where i'm actually trying to look older.

I disagree, and I'm extremely anti drug to boot. I get just as much wood as ever and it hasn't effected my libido at all. I'm still just as buff as always. Suppressing DHT a bit is not all that big of a deal. DHT is more potent than testosterone but is not nearly as well absorbed, and I still have enough left to not get any side effects. I feel no difference whatsoever than before I started to take it, except for the fact that my hair loss has stopped completely for now. The people who have problems with the medication are in the vast minority.

The only mental cure for baldness is either accept it the way it is, or shave it completely and accept being bald and embrace it.

My hairline has receded a little, makes me sad. I don't care as much what others think but for me I still visualize myself with hair. Its like a bad reminder that I'm getting older.

The best days are when I just accept it, stop grading my self image based on my hair. Those days I think I look pretty good :p

You have to get use to the thought of dying alone.

even if you don't want to use the minoxidil-type stuff, you can still buy yourself many years of full hair and eventually try to fix it permanently with transplant type of choice.

for the time being, 1) learn to cut your own hair and fade it shorter on the sides, accentuating what you have on top; 2) use products like "toppik" fibers to fill in the patchy parts, then use a little hairspray to hold them in place.

myself, i'll prolly shave it all eventually, but i've gotten a decade+ free ride out of doing nothing but the last two things... plus saved a shit-ton on barber's fees.

Use Propecia.

I started losing my hair at 22. By 24 I was fairly thin on top. Started using Propecia and in 3 months I was much thicker on top.

I'm turning 40 this year and still have all my hair.

Hmmm, the company should put me on payroll for this. :oldlol:

Also, you can order cheap generic Propecia (finasteride) on line if you know where to look.

I'm 21 and have at least 4 strands of grey hair. It's weird. No problem with hair, my hair still can grow very thick. I can grow an afro within 3 months if I wanted to (I used to have a huge afro that made me look way taller).

If you're that young you're probably just ****ed long term and will have to deal with it.

Get a propecia subscription and see if it works for you.
Get a hat.
Shave your head.

Agreed, shave your head if you are starting to lose hair. I had a high school teacher who started losing hair a lot after he got married and his first kid. Starting buzzing his head ever since. IMO it looked a lot better. Was a big dude and the buzzed head worked well for him.

Fvck that synthetic shit, just drink green day daily and you will be fine, it has the same chemical called alpha 5 reductase inhibitor aka DHT blocker (the reason you are going bald)
