the starting small forward from the team that gave the Spurs the most trouble in last years playoffs will now be coming off the bench for the Cavs.

I heard that earlier, too.
This Cleveland team really is stacked and has as good a talent as any team in the league. All that they are lacking is a little bit of experience for the young players and a rim protector.

if Wade or Derozen gets hurt early in the season & Hibbert continues his play we could see the Cavs step out as the Eastern all star team
Spurs > Cavs
Parker > Irving
Duncan > Love
Leonard < Lebron
Ginobili > Marion
Splitter > Varejao
Green < Waiters
Mills > Dellevedova
Belinelli > Miller

Cavs have 3 all star starters, 2 of the top 3 PER leaders in the entire league (remember how valuable that stat supposedly is?)
You aren't fooling anybody.

I love how you just didn't even care about the comparisons I just did which clearly shows how Spurs is by far the better team.
Literally everybody would take Parker and Duncan ahead of Irving and Love as soon as playoffs starts.
keep pushing that super stacked agenda though..

So, a few things here:
-not downplaying that Cavs have a good roster. its one of the elite teams in the league(on paper, still not played 1 game). not some kind of dream team that is levels above everybody else. and its a team for the future. and clearly not as good as the champions spurs
-not a Miami fan, just a Lebron fan
what makes the cavs more stacked than spurs or even the thunder?
whoever expects cavs to run teams over are in for a rude awakening.
but go ahead, you guys can all do your own comparisons of the cavs-spurs rosters and see what you come up with.

If Cleveland doesn't all but sweep the East and win at least two in the Finals, it'll be a disappointment of a season.

More like take the Spurs' system over the Cavs' system, which we don't even know what it will be under a completely new coaching regime / GM. Boris Diaw looked completely done a few years ago. No one wanted him and he was looking at probable retirement. Now, he plays in that perfect Spurs system for a couple years and he's automatically a better player than a young big who has basically averaged a double-double in his first three years in the league?
The Cavs really do have a ridiculous amount of talent. From a raw talent standpoint, yes, I think they're considerably above the Spurs. But, how will that talent mesh? What kind of system will Blatt put into place? Will everyone's game be able to maximize together with this group?
Those are the things that the Spurs have going for them in spades. At this point, I think it has become quite clear that personnel isn't exactly the most important factor for San Antonio. Half of their roster are guys who could probably be replaced, just like Gary Neal, Cory Joseph, DeJuan Blair, etc. were allowed to walk and easily replaced.
From strictly a personnel perspective, I doubt there are many GMs who would take the Spurs' roster over what the Cavs have assembled.
Btw, if the Cavs play the Spurs in the Finals this year (a long way to go to even get there) and SA plays the way they did last season? The Spurs will likely destroy them. But, it won't be because their players are so much better.

Cavs are a clear favorite to win it all this year. It's theirs to lose. No bullshit, LeBron has to get it done this year.
