As a Pistons fan, that was one of the greatest moments in my history of basketball viewing. Of course, Chauncey's miracle shot was eventually nullified once Brian Scalabrine began raining down threes in triple overtime but still, at the precise moment it happened, I could not believe what I was seeing. Incredible.

Sidenote, so many great plays and performances wiped off the board that night. Richard Jefferson's block would have received some heroic attention had it stood (swatting a potentially game-tying shot from behind with 2 seconds left). Only, Chauncey cancelled him out with the half-court buzzer beater. Then Chauncey's buzzer beater would have been legendary had the Pistons won. Then, I'd have to believe more folks would have recalled Scalabrine's 4 for 4 from deep performance (9 points in overtime) had New Jersey won the series.

Great stuff regardless.
