As much as I love Iverson, I hate the basketball fashion trend he imparted on the NBA. The 13" inseams make it look like the players are swimming in their shorts. Give it a 7" inseam and they'll have better range of motion, better breathability, it's just more comfortable all around. Throw some compression shorts on under if you're self conscious about showing a little thigh

i think the problem was that they used ghetto oversized throwback jerseys with small 80's shorts.


if they gave them the skin tight jerseys from the 80s that matched the shorts it would have been ok

Way more comfortable and when you're rocking those nike elite socks, the above knee shorts really enhance your calf muscles.

The new material they put in these jerseys won't allow for a good looking fit shorts. They are going to droop and look baggy regardless of length. It is a material and cut issue.

Yes but that type of short was popularized during the early 2000s (first by Iverson, then the Tmacs, etc.) and became 'the look'. It's slowly getting better though

baggy shorts is just a bad look. and is annoying to play in. interferes with moving and running. i like my shorts to be 2-3 inches above my knee.

tight short shorts on the other hand is too feminine. a good short is just the right balance between not too long and not too short, and not too tight but also not too baggy.
