I disagree the 90's wasn't a great music era compared to the 80's or the non mainstream stuff in the 2000's. Now if we're talking movies absolutely the 90's were better.

In retrospect, it wasn't the greatest decade for movies that stand up over time. I really don't still love a year more than others. Just Goodfellas, Matrix, Dumb and Dumber, etc.
