fake games don't count so no harlem/and1/scripted stuff or pickups
like real competition
and only talking about recognizable names. not nobodies
players i know of
Kobe - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4VfKCzHVbg
Lebron - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILkb60BAXso
its not so much about the dunk. but the risk. its pretty balsy.
and will someone ever do it in the NBA?

Obviously not a terribly deep thread, but enough to establish that Ricky Davis was the only one to pull it off in an NBA game, with Josh Smith rimming one out in the playoffs.

I believe Tayshaun Prince did it the same game Lebron did.

was that ricky davis one during a regular season or exibition game. cause exibitions dont really count. no pressure

I think the between-the-legs flush is still inconsistent enough (with a clear hot dogging connotation) that folks still only trust to give 'em a shot if the game either doesn't matter or is already decided. Davis was down 20. I believe Bryant's was in a specialty game of some kind (please correct me if I am off-base), and LeBron's occurred when he so dominated the competition that attempting and completing such a dunk simply seemed like natural progression at the time.
I'd say Josh Smith's was the ballsiest to this point, coming in the playoffs on national television. But even then, his team had a commanding lead in the waning minutes.

Wilt did it in a scrimmage at KU using the experimental 12 foot rims. Don't know if it counts, because it was while dunking a free throw.

Other way around? You thought Jamal did a windmill alley to a Blake between the legs?
Windmill pass... I must now see it.

Nope. i thought jamal did an alley-oop pass to a blake between the leg finish. had to look up the vid to correct myself. the description at the end was just that; a description.
