recap:

6 months ago my neighbors little son had his Bike stolen.....

2 Months ago my other neighbors little son had his Bike stolen....

Both Bikes were out front near the front door...


My plan...

- I have an old BMX bike ( That I will repaint and make like new)...I have security camera's....

I have a good idea how to make a trap with a bike , cable ,carpet tacks and a Ink .....

- Make a trap involving a new looking Bike in front of my garage.....I know I can get the Bike thief on camera and possibly mark them with bank ink....


( I've stole bikes in my younger days....but sometimes people need a lesson)

any other ideas???

on the last day of school in sophomore year in high school, I saw a random asian kid from my high school (too many went to my high school so I couldn't really tell who it was) with my $120 tennis racket. He was at least 100 feet away and I was talking to friends. I was really pissed because I remember that the locker I placed it in was unlocked for most of the year. I felt so dumb :banghead:. I felt like chasing him down but eh, I really didn't care. I rarely played tennis after it got stolen anyway.

Stuff a mini GPS tracker somewhere in the bike. They only cost $12-25 on EBay. That's what my neighbor did to some Mexicans who were stealing his fruit trees. And it worked, cops used the info to bust them.

I have always just called the cops when I've had something stolen, except for once when this really tall white trash transient tried to break into my truck. Told him to get lost because he looked so messed up, I almost felt sorry for him. He came back again a couple of hours later, and he advanced on me when I told him to leave, so I pulled out my pistol on him, and he dropped to his knees and proceeded to cry out his life story to me. I just went inside my house, locked the door and called the cops.

My girlfriend's brother in law killed a guy trying to steal something out of his garage.

Haha. They were Bahri(sp) date trees. Apparently the shoots cost over $1000 and the fruit sells between $3-$5 a pound.

Naw, I live in a rural area but people from town come out here looking to steal because the houses out here are separated pretty far and they can rip off a ranch house without lots of curious eyes. But they do pay a price, I personally know two people who have killed thieves and not went to jail. Nobody gives a sh!t about thieves out here, especially cops. You can bet this area will never see any protests for a person like Mike Brown.

Have the back wheel very loose.. or something that gives you enough time so the perp cant get very far.

For the comedic value alone OP should sabotage his bike so bike thief will bust his face when trying to steal it.
