I doubt it, I think his absolute prime was with Dallas. I definitely could be wrong on that, but he was just a monster on the defensive end with that championship run.

Tyson need to learn how to score and post up.

Dude could be beast if he had some offensive skills.

He used to say stuff like that when he joined the Knicks. He just got hurt or sick every year, and played like ass most of the time.

His height is listed at 7-1. He's avg. 28.6MPG in his career and yet avg. only 3.1FTA per game.

That's awful.

What team is better:

Felton
Ellis
Parsons
Dirk
Chandler

or

Beverley
Harden
Parsons
Jones
Howard

This Mavs team would need Hakeem or DRob in their primes to have any competency on the defensive end. Chandler never deserved that DPOY he was given and doesn't have close to the impact needed defensively for this Mavs to even be average. They are going to be just as bad defensively as they were last year. Adding Chandler Parsons who will be playing 35+ minutes and is one of the absolute worst defensive black holes in the league certainly isn't helping, either.

That is awful. He's basically in ghost mode on offense. Only there for tip ins/tip outs and oops.

no pun intended

Little late in the game for him to learn that now.

Felton < Beverly
Ellis = Harden(I prefer Ellis though)
Parsons = Parsons
Dirk > Jones
Chandler < Howard

I think Dirk's team is better.

I know. I don't see how he went his whole career without even trying to learn some offensive moves.

Really close but give me the Mavs. The Mavs 2 stars in Dirk/Ellis is just as good as Houstons especially with Carlisle at the helm.

as an OKC fan id rather see Houston in the playoffs

A better player? Did he forget that he's also 5 years older?

Are you comparing the Houston team of last year or did you forget to put in Ariza ?

just if parsons is going to a better or worse team

Not possible. Chandler's 2011 regular season was the GOAT for defensive-minded, small usage bigs.

I haven't even been slightly impressed with him since his departure.

I'll take Ariza over Parsons in a heartbeat. This Rockets team needs defensive stability in a bad away. James Harden and Parsons were pretty easily the worst starting sg/sf tandem defensively in the league and possibly the worst two at their respective positions, period. Trevor Ariza gives them someone who can mop up some of Hardens mess and maybe someone whose defensive energy will rub off on Harden. (doubtful, but he's going to look even worse than he already does without Parsons on the wing with him)

If you comparing the Mavs now vs Rockets now then I'm taking the Rockets.
