His perimeter shooting, driving to the basket, FT %, and ball handling are superb.

But his defense. :facepalm

And yet he still gets franchise/star money plus all star game appearances?

(Harden/Rocket stans incoming)

Possibly. But they have Beverley and Ariza on the perimeter, who are universally considered to be plus defenders.

Defensive awareness is his biggest problem. Instead of looking at his man, he looks at the ball. I don't know why he hasn't fixed that yet... It's not that hard to look at your man.

Look at your man does not give you steal and tired you out that you have to chase scrubs around. For a heavy man like harden chase rabbits are not fun. He rather gamble the passing lane then let people shot uncontested shots and go for the rebound. There is no stat associated with chase your man around and playing good D.:confusedshrug:

Then he can forget about winning a championship

It looks like he goes to the 3pt line and realizes his man isn't there so he runs like hell to try to recover. :lol

If Kobe gets held to under 40 points by James Harden on opening night, he might as well retire.

He gets caught watching the ball because he wants to get the steal on the pass. He gambles too much to find the easy basket on the fastbreak.
