Scary shit this world.
Ebola, ISIS, natural disasters, civil wars, fcked up people doing weird shit is there anything else?
I don't even turn on the news or read the newspaper anymore...
Everyone is either dying or killing each other.
Seems that way sometimes.
I don't know.
But yeah, Ebola will get us all. No hiding from an incurable disease...

Dont be such a ******.
Ebola aint any different than bird flu, swine flu, SARS, etc. It'll die down.
ISIS aint any different from the millions of murderous organisations that have existed over time. They will also pass and someone else will take their place, as is historically proven.
When you compare the times in which we are living, it is better than the world has ever been at any point in history. BY FAR. And people living in first world countries still search for any reason to complain. Pathetic :facepalm .

A matter of time before something like this mutates into something we cannot stop...
We might dodge Ebola, but these poor countries with poor hygiene are a breeding bed for disease.

It's all a big gag to them.
A: "Wanna eat this delicious rabid dog meat sandwich?"
B: "Sure, I didn't eat since last January."
B takes sandwich and starts eating it.
A: "Got you bro! I didn't wash my hands! You got the Ebolas!"

I don't blame them for their circumstance, I'm just stating what will happen from their condition of living.

Eh, not that severe. Just the media pushing threats down our throats to keep the public worried and distracted.
Notice how since 9/11 media was saying terrorism 24/7? Then you realize what happened in our society with foreign intervention, increased security, attacking your personal information, etc.
It's a part of their plan and you really have nothing to worry about...

Ebola doesn't exist here in the Western World yet. But if you bring someone with it here..or someone who was infected there comes here than it will be introduced here. I know the government has brought back some people that were infected to be treated here (don't understand why they couldn't be treated in Africa). Also I heard they are sending American troops to Africa...WHY? If any of these troops get infected and come back home..WTH. Ebola like other viruses doesn't get you sick right away. It has an incubation period. You can be infected..spread it..and not know that you have it until you begin to get the symptoms.
There were past breakouts of Ebola in the past. This is not new. What did they do before? I think they just contained it..they contained in the areas where they had the breakouts..they didn't bring anyone out..but that is what they are doing now..so why would they do this?

Yet....
Although it is unlikely Ebola will be able to remain airborne like influenza, it has mutated dramatically since it was discovered, and at least one strain has shown the ability to remain airborne for very short periods of time.
If it does become airborne like influenza, it is estimated 1.2 million Africans could die within a year.

wrong. so wrong.
Ebola has a mortality rate anywhere between 50-90%. that means during the span of any type of breakout, and we're experiencing the worst one of all time now, over half of anyone who gets Ebola will die.
WHO predicts that 100,000 people will get Ebola before 2014 ends, because it's increasing at an exponential rate.
ISIS is feared to be 100,000+ strong, not including their millions of sympathizers all across the world. they are rapidly making more money and gaining fighters every day. they also control a land mass larger than the nation of SYRIA. Besides the Taliban, not many terrorist organizations have this record. the Islamic State is bent on world domination and they won't stop at anything short of it.
and right now is most definitely not the most prosperous or peaceful times that we live in. world debt is increasing exponentially, at this rate we will likely experience a Second Great Depression within 5-10 years, one that would be worse than the first one and most likely shatter society.

Why is the President sending thousands of troops to the Ebola hotbeds..:facepalm . Come on. This is like asking for Ebola to be introduced to the U.S. The way ebola outbreaks were contained in the past was by keeping it isolated. Also Ebola can be transmitted via semen or ******l secretions. A person that looks normal can have this during the incubation period. Even a person that is cured from Ebola can have the virus in their system for weeks/months. If the ebola virus pops up in America..you know who to blame.

ebola is only transmitted through blood or bodily fluids, so its relatively easy to avoid if you are actually trying to avoid it. im not worried at all.

Yeah, I don't get this either. It has the potential to blow up in our face, and if a lot of Americans get sick, people are going to shrug their shoulders at Obama and ask. "What were you thinking?"
