looked good in the world cup but i saw him play for my local club for a few years and i'm unconvinced by his ability to succeed in the nba.

he's good shooter and scorer. handles the ball well for a 6'8" guy and has good court vision. the downside is he can't defend anyone and it lead to him barely playing in important games for the euroleague champs last season.

I didn't want a reason to like the Clips, now i do :(

How many f.cking wings are these cats looking over? Seems like the clips are always signing them.

So damn ecstatic about this signing. The additions of Chris Douglas-Roberts as well, makes our small forward rotation a million times better than last season, not to mention, some improvement from Bullock.

SG: JJ Redick - Jamal Crawford - CJ Wilcox
SF: Douglas-Roberts - Barnes - Ingles

That is one average (Barnes) and 2 below average small forwards.
Might as well start Bullock and give him some experience.

Yeah... I'd just go ahead and forget Hedo.

don't forget Hedo

Hedo's going to be the third PF on the depth chart, which looks something like:

PG: Paul - Farmar
SG: JJ - JCraw - CJ
SF: CDR - Barnes - Ingles - Bullock
PF: Blake - BBD - Hedo
CE: DJ - Hawes - Udoh

Douglas-Roberts was a big part with the Cats last season, and is definitely above Barnes. Forgot bout Reggie though, doubt he plays as there was some speculation that he was getting cozy with Doc's daughter.

CDR was in the D-league but had an ok run in the second half of last NBA season, but I can't see him as a starter on a good WC team.
CDR was mainly only getting court time at the cats due to injuries.

That small forward position needs some real correction.

CDR is pretty equivalent to Barnes, and Barnes is better suited to be a part of the bench, if you were to ask me. Plus, after having Barnes/Dudley, Barnes/CDR in itself is a huge upgrade, not to mention Ingles and any improvement from Reggie, if Reggie gets any sort of playiung time.

First of all, how on earth is CDR potentially a starter for one of the elite teams in the league? What am I missing?...

And Ingles is an interesting prospect - he plays very unorthodox, a little like a Manu / Dragic type game-style / handles. Very deceptive and rangey player. Has somewhat of an X-factor ore about him. Hope he can get some minutes in that deep, oh so deep SF rotation of CDR and Barnes...

I have seen him play in the flesh, and his defense will be an issue if it hasn't improved. Euroleague champion doe

Jared Dudley was a starter. Matt Barnes was the starter.

CDR should be better than Jared last year, and equal to Barnes. Plus, the Clippers need a utility 3&D type of guy at SF, which CDR fits in well.

As long as he can push his guy towards Jordan/Udoh, he'll be fine.

Yeah me too

Saw him play for the club team south dragons :lol

You're right his defense can be bad, gets beaten off the dribble too often.

That's when Shane Heal was still playing I think with him in the backcourt .

Good signing by the Clipps they got a playmaking SF with decent touch and won't ever be a chemistry issue. Joe's a solid player to have off the bench imo.

Yep. Heal was a player/coach too going from memory

Will tune in to a few clippers games just to see him play. I hope he does well :applause:

Clips have been nice this off season. Fourth signing that i dig a lot behind Hawes, Farmar & CDR.
