yes, Lakers have historically had the most HOF level players play for them. That is why they are one of the 2 most successful franchises. Kobe was so lucky to be having the most dominant center of all time to play with him.

so kobe won 3 titles with just 1 of the 23 hall of famers

and kobe won 2 titles with NONE of the 23 hall of famers

If you mean all players at their peak then Lakers are easily the GOAT franchise

BasketballReference's Hall of Fame Probability list:

Pau Gasol ranks 97th with a 0.6107 chance.

Manu ranks 130th with a 0.2578 chance.

Yet nobody would go around saying Manu is simply an All-Star, not a HoFer. Pau is a Hall of Famer....Kobe played with two.

Why is Magic on the F team?

he might make it. but its not 100%

if he gets in i say its due to his international resume mixed with his "pretty good" nba career

still.. thats more of an international contributor nomination like yao ming

2 third team all nbas and 4 reserve asg's while probably retiring with 16-17ppg isnt much of a HOF'r in my opinion

Why is Magic on the F team?

for balance

i want all the teams to be competitive

they pretty much all have a shot at most if not all other teams best 5

Why is Magic on the F team?
Because Jerry West who's more fit to play shooting guard is a better point guard than him.

So is Norm Nixon, Nick Van Exel, 60 year old Gary Payton and Slater Martin, obviously.

because he played in a great system and had the arguably GOAT coach for every one of his rings

And you don't start Horry or Gasol when you have Wilt/Shaq/Kareem/Baylor.

Magic
West
Kobe
Kareem
Shaq

Gail Goodrich
James Worthy
Elgin Baylor
Pau Gasol
Wilt

Lakers > Celtics>>>>>everyone else

Have to admit, it's gotten pretty hilarious recently to see what ways Griff tries to mask Kobe agenda threads. This is one of his more creative ones but he ruins it with his third post in the thread.

kennethgriffin

Magic is on the F team and Worthy on the E team? Never mind the dumbass agenda fueling this thread, that's asinine enough.

Didn't realize there was a second page to the thread when I made my post, saw your reply on the second page, and changed my post.

Oh, and Pau Gasol is a HOFer. And yes, plenty of it has to do with his NBA body of work. There's worse players in the HOF who are in there based almost solely on their NBA body of work. Stop trying to convince everyone he's not. People already don't take you seriously and that isn't helping.

players who made the HOF with lesser careers usually had a huge impact somehow in other ways. or were really popular. or trend setters. or did historic things. that or had friends who voted

gasol has none of these things going for him... most casual fans think kobe won those 2 rings with a bum sidekick. they know fisher more than they know of gasol

i thought it was obvious considering horry on A team and magic on F team

plus the balanced teams. but people just see one thing and rush to judgement

Given your posting history (mostly asinine agenda driven nonsense), you'll have to excuse me if I assumed the worst from you.
