Here is a journalistic pictorial collage that I put together. Some say it is art and some say I am promoting Judaism.

Gotta question...so being Jewish is all about being in a religion? How come it seems like it's a nationality or something? Nobody says so and so is a Catholic, Southern Baptist, Lutheran, etc. Why so much emphasis on religion (Judaism)?
What if a Jewish person isn't religious, I've heard of some Jewish celebrities that say they aren't religious like Bill Maher who is half Jewish and even Howard Stern, are they still considered Jewish if they don't practice their religion? Could anyone essentially become Jewish be converting or does your mom have to be Jewish (the hell is that about). When people ask me what I am, I tell them Mexican American, I have never said Roman Catholic :confusedshrug:
Also, never heard someone being referred to as half Catholic because of one parent but with Jews if one of the parents, especially if it's the mother, you're half Jewish :wtf: Also, it's kinda weird when someone is half Polish half Jewish, never people being referred as half German half Methodist :confusedshrug:

Well it doesn't seem like a nationality, most people just ignorantly equate all Jews to Israel.
Judaism is different from most religions in that you need to be born in to it and conversion is difficult. You need a Jewish mom because the religion passes through the mother (I don't know why this is, I dont make the Jew rules LOL). If you want to convert, a rabbi will deny you 3 times before accepting you as a student. Then you have to study for 3 years and learn Hebrew. It is rare to find someone who wants to convert so badly that they will give 3 years of their lives and hard work to convert. But once they do they are fully accepted in to the religion.
That's how it's different from Christianity for example where you just dip your head in water and are considered a Christian.
Also the Torah is just one part of Judaism. There was also the oral tradition which is equally important. This was not written down for thousands of years until finally it was put in to the Talmud.
Do some research into the Talmud and Talmudic logic. Emphasis on the Talmud also explains why lots of Jews wind up being good lawyers. Studying Talmud is all about arguing and yelling with your rabbi, and finding different ways of interpreting the same line of a scribe and finding loopholes in logic.
Check it out, Jews filling a stadium to read a book and listen to speeches and argue with eachother https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljch-TVGXA0
XD.
I want to study Talmud and Kabballah when I become an old gramps once I am rich and have lots of free time on my hands. It encourages seeing all problems and issues from all sides, and to have many different points of view at the same time.

Gotcha
I hope you guys didn't get the impression I have something against Jews by my ESPN Jewish people thread. I don't believe in this big Jewish conspiracy to rule the world, I just think some Jewish folks get great gigs because studio heads are just like them, it's not the worst thing in the world and if Hollywood was owned by Chinese Americans, we'd most likely have a huge overrepresentation of Chinese Americans in the media :confusedshrug:
Some of my favorite artist are Jews, Stanley Kubrick, Marty Friedman, Larry David

My theory is this, and I know its based on generalizations.
You know the stereotype of tiger moms, Asian moms pushing their moms really hard from a young age to study all the time and get into a good school and be a doctor or lawyer? Jewish families tend to be the same, stressing importance of education and pushing their kids to study all the time.
The difference IMO is to Jews a job in the creative or entertainment industry is also acceptable, where as to many asian moms, Lawyer, doctor or business man are the only options.
So basically my theory is jews are pushed really hard from a young age same as Asian kids, only different fields are allowed and considered acceptable by their parents.
Also Jewish kids grow up seeing guys like Adam Sandler or Woody Allen being successful and want to be like them, just like lots of black kids grow up and want to be like Lebron or Kobe.
So basically, cultural upbringing is my theory for Jews dominating the entertainment industry per population. I am open to the idea that my theory is wrong, I know its just based off generalizations

Because Judaism is not just a religion, it's a culture. That's the difference.
Here is a Cliff Notes description for you:
http://judaism.about.com/od/judaismbasics/a/beingjewish.htm
Judaism is both a cultural and religious identity
Being Jewish means that you are part of the Jewish people, whether because you were born into a Jewish home and culturally identify as Jewish or because you practice the Jewish religion (or both).
Cultural Judaism includes things such as Jewish foods, customs and rituals. For instance, many people are born into Jewish homes and are raised eating blintzes and lighting shabbat candles, but never step foot inside a synagogue. A Jewish identity is automatically bestowed on babies of Jewish mothers (according to Orthodox and Conservative Judaism) and of Jewish mothers or fathers (according to Reform Judaism). This Jewish identity stays with them throughout life even if they don't actively practice Judaism.
Religious Judaism includes the beliefs of the Jewish religion. The way a person practices the Jewish religion can take many forms and partially for this reason there are different movements of Judaism. The main denominations are Reform, Conservative, Orthodox and Reconstructionist Judaism. Many people who are born into Jewish homes affiliate with one of these branches, but there are also those who do not.
If a person is not born Jewish, s/he can convert to Judaism by studying with a rabbi and undergoing the process of conversion. Merely believing in the precepts of Judaism is not enough to make someone a Jew. They must complete the conversion process in order to be considered Jewish. Though the different branches of Judaism have varying requirements for conversion, it is safe to say that the conversion process is very meaningful for whomever decides to undertake it.

What exactly would a "Jewish food" be?
Oddly, bagels were a specifically Christian food. If I remember correctly, Jews were forbidden from baking in Europe because Christians have this thing about bread and Jesus. If memory serves me, bagels were a Polish interpretation of German pretzels and were specifically for the days that Catholics couldn't eat meat.
I think most of what we consider "Jewish food" is just European food that Jewish immigrants brought with them and it became associated with them.

You could say that, mormonism is much easier to convert into, and Judaism has a culture behind it besides just the religion. I don't think it's fair to call a culture a nonsense cult. People can be Jewish and not follow the religion, like me or Einstein for example. Calling Jews a nonsense cult is the same as calling kurds or eskimos a nonsense cult.

Hmmmm..... I could see different arguments.
I wouldn't necessarily call it a "cult", but I wouldn't say it's the same as Kurds or Inuit. Those are regional ethnic groups. Jews aren't from any particular region or ethnicity. They're from all over living among other people.

Well, that's all that matters. Bagels are clearly a "jewish food".....
Koogel, Gifillete fish, challah, brisket, kreplach, matzoh, pickled herring, latkas (potato pancakes), chicken noodle soup.....some of the traditionally jewish foods....
Also, Chinese food is Jewish.:lol Jews loves Chinese food.
