True, but with Kobe aging I think he will get more than usual this season. Same thing happened with Jordan during his last season in Chicago. Kobe is still a big money maker for the NBA, which means they will do everything in their power to create the illusion that he is still a top player.

Realistically, Kobe had no problems getting in position for rebounds last season when he could play.

Scoring seemed like a problem because he seemed stiff and unsure of himself. I don't see him taking on a playmaking role this season, more like a scoring role.

I think 24/5/3 on 45% isn't too far fetched.

really all depends on scotts "limit" on kobes playing time

i think kobe will start the season out averaging 32-35mpg

if the lakers are winning. itel be cut down to 30mpg

if the lakers are losing. itel go up to 38mpg

with 32-35mpg kobe will average 25/5/5

with 30mpg kobe will average 23/4/4

with 38mpg kobe will average 27/6/6

Yes, the Great One will stay healthy. How will he bounce back? Great question. I am thinking that as fans of Kobe, and the haters out there, we will see Kobe at his all time greatest! I am talking passing, shooting, and rebounding. His defense might not be what we fans are use to, but he will be a lot smarter on defense and defending the passing lanes better. I am expecting a well rounded game from Kobe. The Lakers are going to shock a lot of people this year. Watch. Welcome back, Kobe

I see him getting voted in as an All Star. And two more defensive 1st team and all NBA 1st team.

Way to go out on a limb there. :oldlol: Considering he got voted in as a Starter last season after only playing 6 games that doesn't really mean much. Do you think he will make an all NBA team? I personally don't see him being very good this year. Unlike most of his fan boys in here I'm a realist. There is no way a guy his age coming off 2 major injuries is gonna come back and be the exact same player, I don't care how "motivated" he is. Father time is undefeated.

Considering he only averaged 13 ppg last season I think he only topped 20 points in 1 of those 6 games. :lol
And you don't think he'll be rusty this year? :facepalm No amount of practice time can simulate what it's gonna be like for him when the real games actually start.

It's pretty cute how his fans have convinced themselves that Kobe is gonna become the first athlete in NBA history to defeat father time. :oldlol:
I get that he's a hard worker and motivated and all that, but if that's all it took then MJ would still be playing today.:hammerhead:

Well, I don't see him playing at an All Star level or playing too well, but none the less, as a realist I see him being selected for two more NBA first teams, and two more NBA first defensive 1st teams.

It's like Kobe fans don't understand that he isn't Lebron. He just isn't great enough to do it.

I think kobe can average 20+ again. He scored 20+ 3/6 games he played last year, including putting work on Tony Allen for 21 points in his last game where he hurt his knee. His skill level is still there, that's why I'm confident in him doing it.

This, plus he had his knee fixed up again, which happened before the 2012-2013 season. He won't be a top 10 player but I can't count out 20+ PPG from him.

I do think Kobe can still be a top 10 player again he has the GOAT skill set and hasn't relied on athleticism in many years. I don't think we will ever see 12/13 season Kobe again, but I think we'll see very good efficient Kobe that can average 23-24 points a game while dishing out 4/5 assist with a few rebounds a game if he's able to stay injury free and healthy. I have hope and have learned over the years to never count out motivated, rejuvenated, Kobe.
